It is riddled with issues, that for me, made it near unplayable. My main issue is with the camera. Using a mouse I find it gets stuck every time. Sometimes I am unable to look up, down, sideways, etc but I am unsure as to why. I ended up having to use a game pad to play it without any camera issues and I loathe playing first person games with a game pad. The game also in no ways tries to explain it’s mechanics to the player. You’re supposed to solve puzzles by looking at items but with my camera issue that is made quite difficult as well as you’re just roaming this place trying to find what it wants you to look at without any clue as to what it may be until you find it. I liked the art style and music. I liked the concept of the game but it was too pretentious for it’s own good. I’m not asking to have my hand held but at the same time a puzzle game that does a poor job explaining what it wants out of you is just a poor puzzle game. You aren’t somehow smarter for solving something by trial and error or luck than with skill. Don’t get me started on things like the mirror puzzle, that was a nightmare. It is a timed puzzle that you have to look at mirrors in a certain order without any way of figuring out the order other than trial and error. Compound that with me having to use a game pad that has much slower reaction time than a mouse and I was furious.I played 103 on Linux. It never crashed on me. It did have the aforementioned camera issues with a mouse. It also had an issue where at the very beginning when you hit new game it just loops to the main menu and you will continue that loop until you hit the “continue” option. Also on the menus there is no mouse support, you have to use a keyboard or game pad to navigate. The game saves at checkpoints but never tells you when it saves. Alt-tab works. There is just one graphics option to adjust. There is also just one audio option so if you want to lower the music volume but not the sound effects you’re out of luck.Game Engine: UnrealInput Used Logitech F310Disk Space Used: 2.1 GBGame Version Played: 1.0Settings: Graphics level 4; 1080PGPU Usage: 84-100 %VRAM Usage: 1213-1367 MBCPU Usage: 10-15 %RAM Usage: 2.7-2.8 GBOn the puzzle front one can say this was just a clash of preferences between the developers and myself but the camera issues; lack of mouse support in the menus; new game loop issue; lack of audio and video options; lack of notifications for save points; etc are all real and objective issues. I’ll give them points for visual style and trying to tackle the puzzle genre in a different manner than the normal but it fell way short in my books. I paid $30 AU on Kickstarter for 103 and gave up trying to enjoy it after 31 minutes. My Score: 3.5/10My System:AMD Ryzen 5 2600X | 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 | MSI RX 580 8GB Gaming X | Mesa 21.1.2 | Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB | Manjaro 21.0.7 | Mate 1.24.1 | Kernel 5.12.9-1-MANJARO

Short but surreal, 103 presents an intriguing exploration of a dreamlike series of corridors that you can practically complete with both hands tied behind your back.
