Graphics look a bit funny in videos but during the game work well. Give it a shot! Aside from the bugs I experienced (not everyone does) I think u will enjoy itEdit: 1 year later this game is very buggy. Too bad the developer seems to feel "DLC" is more important than having a game that works. At this point it's rare to finish a run without a bug ruining it (corrupted or deleted save files, controls freezing. Broken level generation is the least of my worries at this point). Because of this I am downgrading my rating substantially. The core concept is great though. I really hope the developer learns from their mistakes for the sequel

Nice traditionnal roguelike but with refined and modern real-time gameplay, cool mobs and enhanced non-linear dungeon & quest generation. AlsoNice traditionnal roguelike but with refined and modern real-time gameplay, cool mobs and enhanced non-linear dungeon & quest generation. Also nice with newcomers - explaining things and stuff - and still challenging. Visuals are simple, UI may look a bit cheap but everything's very functionnal so in the end it feels pretty good.Only weak points to my opinion : the game music is instant-boring (no big deal, personnal opinion, I just put my own music) and users a reporting v-sync and lag glitches but support is here, there are workaround and developpers are still improving it.

I don’t think that Unexplored is ever going to knock anyone’s socks off, but it is a fun little game that I think is worth it’s low asking price. It probably isn’t one that I’ll be coming back to much after my time spent with it for this review, but, then again, not everything has to be. It’s dungeons do feel pleasantly organic, but outside of that it just doesn’t really do anything outstandingly better or differently than others in it’s genre. For some this sense of “been here done that” may be too much, and I think that’s reasonable. For others, solid is more than enough to warrant a purchase, and I think that’s just fine too.
