Loot drops are almost nonexistent. Plus the going woke **** It’ll be the last borderlands game I buy and last purchase from this company.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a fantastic looter shooter that enhances the Borderlands franchise. What's more, it utilises many much-loved mechanics and has some new elements chucked in. The combination of FPS action and the isometric overworld work perfectly to deliver the crazy plot. Alongside this, the acting is fantastic and you'll chuckle repeatedly from start to finish.

Had my character corrupted once and on the 2nd try had guns disappearing constantly. 20 hours completely wasted. The level design consists of many shades of brown and grey and it's an ugly mess.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is one of the best games ever by Gearbox. It is a lot of fun, with a great duration and gameplay that invites you to spend countless hours playing. If you have some friends that play it too, it is a blast.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has a fantastic story with good humor that is a massive improvement from Borderlands 3. The gameplay attempts to take advantage of the fantasy setting by adding spells and magical weapons into the looter shooter design that the franchise has created but it doesn't really add anything to the gameplay. The Overworld area is a clever innovation in this game as it is inspired by table top games. This can also be seen in the dungeons & dragons like narration, setting and character building. Overall this game tries to sell you a completely reworked Borderlands experience but I found that this games adds next to nothing in terms of gameplay. Don't get me wrong it is still fun to complete but most of the content present here feels too familiar and can get boring after a while.

Of course, it gets points down for feeling like a DLC pack being sold at full price. That feels like a sin of game development. But it's playable and has some decent replay value. Also, who doesn't love Tina?

I love tiny Tina.Maybe I have the taste of a yokel which wears trucker hats but this game is fantastic. It’s funny with great combat mechanics and power ups. I especially enjoy being able to put it down and pick it up to play casually whenever I have time.
For all Tina's spirited efforts as dungeon master, every aspect of the Borderlands experience is showing its age. The next instalment needs more than dismal puns and wonky guns if it's to avoid being the butt of the joke.

I really like the characters and I was enjoying the story for most part, but the gameplay is beyond terrible. Feels like a game that was made in 2010. This should have been $30 max. I couldn't even make it through the story before I just quite from a combination of boredom and the bad gameplay. It feels like there is no real balance. All the enemies are bullet sponges. Bosses have nothing special to them. This is a half baked product that once again was hyped up by content creators and maybe just diehard Boarderland fans. If you aren't either of those, save your money. This game is bad. I gave it 4 stars because the actors who voiced the characters did a wonderful job and the story itself was pretty entertaining at times. It just isn't enough to carry it through utterly disappointing game mechanics and a UI/UX system that seems like it was created by a first time developer.

A looter shooter with awful loot and loot mechanics (collect a bunch of Ubisoft-like collectibles, "loot dice," to increase your chance of finding good loot). Enemies are absolute bullet sponges. Great voice acting that is totally wasted on a forgettable and boring story. The sound in the game is just straight up bad. Music missing from entire sections, characters talking over gameplay way too much, gun effects that sound just straight up awful. The character customization is nice, but at the same time, it makes your character extremely bland. I was hoping to make multiple characters and spend hours upon hours in endgame, but I'm not even going to finish it. This game is just not engaging or fun, at all.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a great addition to the Borderlands universe. The characters and story are great, the presentation is bang on, and the combat is as good as ever.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a quirky and silly looter shooter that simply doesn't distinguish itself enough from the mainline Borderlands games. It's still a lot of fun, though, especially when you play with friends.
An essential game for fans of Borderlands, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a spin off that’s worth exploring. What’s more, this game feels like a turning point for the series as it becomes smarter and funnier than it is goofy and crude.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is the fantastic fantasy version of Borderlands, and as the spinoff progresses, it closely remembers previous successes, which at times felt a little unoriginal. Thankfully, with excellent writing, hilarious performances from an all-star cast, and ridiculous combat shines and make this tabletop-inspired blast festival absolutely worth it.
Super fun and complete game solo or online. Good for lover of borderlands or gamer that never played those games. Good graphics. Amazing game play

And guess what?I bought this sorry excuse of a "game" to play with a friend who plays it on his PC without doing enough research apparently. And guess what? I should have done my research. Of course they couldn't publish a game that worked. It says that the game has cross play but that is just a lame joke. I don't know if the cross play works between Xbox and PS but I know for damn sure that it doesn't work between PC and Xbox. How does the game industry still exist when it seems like no one can publish a game that doesn't make you regret buying it the first 6 months after it comes out? This is an issue which should have been fixed before releasing the game. We're there no testers? Nobody tested the cross play? AnywayDon't buy if you want to play on different devices with your friends...

Gameplay is what to expect with a Borderlands game, only new additions are spells which are fun to use and being able to pick a secondary class alongside your first. Guns felt a bit underwhelming at times, not bad, but I was expecting more out there and crazy guns at times. The story was fine, not the best but did have quite a few moments that did make me laugh out loud. Humor is subjective so some may find some of the jokes to be a bit too silly or childish. Endgame content is pretty cool and is super replayable. Me and my friend got about 25-30 hours out of it before doing everything. Overall not too bad. Hopefully the dlc is just as good.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands doesn't disfigure among other members of the prestigious Borderlands saga, even if it doesn't bring significant novelties besides the reinterpretation in a fantasy key, which turns out to be a winning idea anyway. Hilarious and irreverent dialogues, a satisfying gunplay and an end-game that hardly gets boring are the elements that will keep you glued to the game.
Following the disaster that was Borderlands 3's writing, there was some serious pressure on Gearbox to deliver this time around. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands isn't a spectacular game and doesn't live up to Borderlands 2, but I doubt most people will care about that. The simple fact is that we got a Borderlands game that is fun with a story that isn't painful to experience. That's a win in my book.
Slightly less story content than Borderlands 3, but a lot of replay value and the endgame content is overly well-done. Gearbox did well

If you liked the way BL3's gunplay and levelling felt, you'll like the way Wonderlands feels. The overworld is a nice twist, and the core pitch would have been brilliant: Take a series that had clear inspiration from MMORPG's loot ranking systems, the writing of a satirist, and the art direction of a graphic novel, then give it 2 cans of redbull and tell it to play dungeon master for 20 hours.Trouble is, it doesn't deliver on that the way you'd expect a Borderlands game to do.Instead, we get a game that's nearly devoid of the cool wit and gleefully hyperbolic satire of the first two Borderlands games. In its place, we get quest and character writing that's so crudely unbalanced in its worldview that it makes the Babylon Bee's depictions of the left feel comparatively sane. Instead of the pure, apolitical silliness that an ADHD teenager could bring to the D&D table, we get a story that feels tired and a little disingenuous, as though it was handed a few too many revision notes from corporate and lost its creativity in favor of one-sided preachiness. If you are offended by this claim, or find it excessive, consider that in the first 4-5 hours of gameplay alone, we get:- A character creator that will give you oddly specific names for every setting of every facet of the body except for the one that designates male and female body types- A sidequest in which you try to help a genuinely creepy lesbian get laid- A sidequest that is quite literally a marxist revolution led by a pacifist bearded female goblin.- An irreverent metrosexual paladin voiced by someone who jarringly played a woman in borderlands 3.Heck, even with the game's player callouts, gearbox can't help but point out that the player character is bisexual. I'm sorry, I was under the impression that I'd be inventing *my own* character this time.If it's not clear, the thing I dislike about this game, and what earns it such a low score, is that they constantly break immersion with the world for some obnoxious political point. And it's not a trivial amount of content that's this way. We're talking about entire multi-part sidequests built around these political points, hammering them home so bluntly that it makes you wonder if this game is actually a riff on the communist manifesto instead of the D&D handbook. That is not what was advertised, nor is it what I paid to get.Is it possible to write a good story imbued with political viewpoints? Even ones I disagree with? Yes. Totally. Borderlands 1 & 2 had plenty of themes expressed in them I'd never agree with, including criticism of capitalism and commentary on sex and sexuality. Wonderlands' writing is just clumsy. It won't even do the job they're hoping it will do in convincing others of their point of view. Instead it gets lost in the clamor of every other company falling all over themselves to promote a warped interpretation of what it means to love and care about each other. And, lest we forget: such a message makes *absolutely no sense* in the universe Borderlands initially set up for itself.Borderlands' original appeal was grinding through a bloodbath of comic-booky cell-shaded homicidal maniacs with your friends while playing as a slightly less homicidal maniac in order to find cool guns and achieve the ultimate goal of becoming filthy rich and famous...and coincidentally befriending a few other maniacs along the way. How we got from that to broken co-op at launch, flat jokes, neo-marxism, and affirming gender identity as the standout features of the series is beyond me.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands doesn’t stray too far from the Borderlands series, but it doesn’t need to when the consistently funny characters and familiar yet satisfying gameplay are this enjoyable from front to back.

There are so many memorable moments that takes me back to the glory days of borderlands 2. Dont want to spoil anything but there have been moments that I will remember forever! The writing is okay, not as good as BL2 but definitly better than BL3! The jokes are just cringey enough to be enjoyable and Tina is on top form here.Seems like theres a lot of playstyles you could make work for you with the skill trees, they seem quite versatile. I love that you can select a secondary class, it gives you more options to try builds out. The overworld is an interesting new mechanic, I didnt like it at first but its grown on me! As I say I havent completed the game yet so dont know what the endgame is like. All I can say is I cant wait to finish work and get back to playing it! I would have given it a 10 but for the fact the menus still feel as clunky as ever, and theres a bug that makes my quest log disappear. If you complete a quest step it fixes the bug but its still a pain when it happens. Overall I would highly recommend this game if you like previous borderlands games or fantasy settings, its so colourful and full of life. I would much rather have another wonderlands game than borderlands, the world is just more interesting.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands retains the inherently entertaining shootin' and lootin' gameplay that the Borderlands series is known for, but you're frequently held back from enjoying it because of repetitive missions, tedious busywork, oodles of padding, and the game's relentless need to be funny. It's characters won't shut up, frequently stopping you playing so it can perform another inane comedy routine that limply, embarrassingly fizzles out like a deflating corpse, farting decomposition gases to the tune of "Ta-dah!"
Its a great game, many improvements & quality of life changes from previous entries in the Borderlands series, also a lot of negative changesIts a great game, many improvements & quality of life changes from previous entries in the Borderlands series, also a lot of negative changes that I hope they will address, barely any music, like seriously? Its noticeably missing and boss fights feel strange without any music playing. Another bad change is the UI which usually isn't great but this time its particularly bad, tiny text, lots of useless icons etc which make it very difficult to see if a weapon is any good or not which is kinda the whole point of a looter shooter is it not? Also the online coop functionality has been broken since launch due to the shoddy shift system, if you want to play online with your friends, wait until they have fixed it, its actually depressing going through the whole game in single player when all you want to do is coop with friends, very disappointed in gearbox to be honest & I wont be pre-ordering anything from them again.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is still very much a Borderlands game — which is both its biggest quality and to its detriment. Its characters, story, and endlessly enticing gameplay will keep you coming back for more until you’ve explored everything and seen all Wonderlands have to offer. Sadly, while the change of setting and theme has brought out the best in its writing, much of Borderlands’ core systems haven’t caught up.

Should you be in the market for more of Borderlands' frenetic looter-shooter mania, then Tiny Tina's Wonderlands fits the bill, its uniquely daft take on fantasy tropes and tabletop board games proving robust and infectiously good fun.
Absolutely could have been a dlc and should have. Of course they rip content from bl3 to sell it on their own. Honestly, wait for sale.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a resounding success and is easily the most fun I’ve had with the series since the release of Borderlands 2. In some respects, I actually think there is a case to be made that this is the best playing game that Gearbox has made, so positive are the changes made to the narrative delivery, class system, and the introduction of the overworld. If you’re a fan of Borderlands, Wonderlands is an extremely easy sell. But, even if you’re a lapsed fan feeling the burn after so many years of Borderlands products, there is so much that is fresh on display that I think you owe yourself a visit to the Wonderlands.

In a sword and sorcery setting there is very little magic and melee. Its all about the guns again, with grenades now being magic and melee being buffed slightly. Its biggest issue though is the cluttered and outdated Ui and the voice acting. There is ALOT of voice acting, and the voice actors put in the effort to be as annoying and grating as possible. One positive is that you can customize your characters appearance now, something hopefully future Borderlands games will keep. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the closest any game developer has come to recreating Dungeons & Dragons. There are plenty of games that share similar combat mechanics to D&D. But what “Wonderlands” focuses on — and nails — is the feeling of actually sitting around a table playing D&D: moments of chaos when a dungeon master has mere seconds to improvise a way forward for their players; times when teams throw a good plan out the window, but it all works out in the end; the fiery arguments that might overtake a group of friends just trying to have fun; the feeling of knowing what jokes will land with your dungeon master and which ones won’t.
Once you tally up the new and the old, there's really not that much "new" about Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, or at least not new in terms of innovation. Cascading loot and relentless humor check the Borderlands boxes, but instead of coming up with totally new elements, all it had to do was shift things around and finally let us create a character. Future Borderlands experiences may not be set in fantasy settings of this kind, but they should at least look to adopt in some ways the fanciful and varied nature of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a fantastical reskin of Borderlands filled with charm, humor and lots of action. The fantasy theme is enough to keep things feeling fresh, but still familiar to series veterans. Gearbox delivers another solid looter-shooter RPG but with a more welcomed emphasis on the role-playing aspect.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands takes the classic Borderlands formula and puts its own spin on it in a mostly successful attempt to blend fantasy and sci-fi. Though the ending didn't land as well as it could have, the entire journey is well worth playing.
Tiny Tina's Wonderland is an ode to tabletop role-playing games that will transport the player to a first person perspective. The casual and humorous approach of Tina fits just perfectly within the game, and with all of the general improvements over Borderlands this spin-off might as well surpass the main game.
Wonderlands is upbeat and fun from start to finish, offering a rewarding adventure filled with goofy characters, imaginative bosses, and a great sense of ownership over your character through it all. Even with one of Borderlands' most loved characters leading the charge, this experience feels like the start of something new: a rare spinout from an existing series that deserves just as much of the spotlight. As someone who has played plenty of Dungeons & Dragons, I adored how often Wonderlands reminded me of rolling a 20-sided die with friends. It’s a love letter to on-the-spot creativity and friends enjoying each other’s company in a make-believe world.
