I didn’t really read the description of the game and went into the game at once. And here I am, music is playing, I stand in the middle, two people at the sides…. What am I supposed to do?! Well, a dancing game, right? On the upper side there is a balancing line, so I started just “dancing” to the left and right in the rhythm of the music, without touching those guys (you don’t want to push other people while dancing, do you?). But this didn’t lead to anything. After trying around a little bit I found out I can move right and left, and fall, move right and fall, move left and fall, just look at the dancer and fall. A moment later I managed to find out what the other persons are for, you have to get to them without falling, grab them by their hands and move to the other side to grab another person, and that’s what you simply have to do all the game. Hmm. Simply. Not really… what seems as an easy peasy game turns out hardcore balancing with different bonus effects when you grab someone with a special mask. Each round of your “dance” starts with just your character and two other characters to the left and right on the screen. You go right, then left, then right, then left, grabbing other people by their hands as they join your dancing group. As you grab a person, another one arrives at his place, so you always have one character on each side to join dancing with you. The bigger the group becomes, the harder it is to balance. Moreover, the people are of different size and weight, so one person pulls you harder to the side than another and then there are those special guys, ruining every party. Those, thinking they are cool and good-looking because they have a special mask, which can add a special effect to your dancehall for a small time period. E.g. one of them lightens the room, the other one makes the screen shaking, another turns the screen the other way round (aw god!). And if you loose your balance you will fall, what means that you loose and have to start all from the beginning. This game has Single and Multiplayer. In my opinion this is the perfect party game for you and your friends. Take some gamepads and have some fun! Or go online and play with random people. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anyone in the internet to dance against but there is always the option to let bots play against you (but omg, they are the hardest dancers ever!). But if you manage to find someone to play against, you can get a rating for your online games played and become the dancer No.1 (and get some of the achievements there). You also have the option to gain level ups (from level 1 to 12). Each level you get a new mask, becoming easier to balance and turning on another soundtrack (just in case you get bored by playing the same music over and over again)Positive:+ great party game for playing with friends+ nice music and art+ easy to play but very challenging+ low price+ controller support+ trading cardsNegative:- no tutorial in the beginning- bots are playing like gods (too hard)All in all I’d say the gameplay is easy but very challenging and it can make a lot of fun and sometimes you will notice saying to yourself “Oh god, just once more, I have to break my record!” And while playing with your friends splitscreen some funny hours are guaranteed. I like this game and I definitely recommend it, worth the money!8/10 upside down masks
