Despite the PS Move controllers being painful to control with, i'd say the game is still exceptionally realistic. The story is an awesome length for a VR game, and is really fun to play through. The combat is insane. The melee kills, the grabbing zombies and using obscure weapons to kill them, it's hours of messing around to be had just at your fingertips. The locations are fun to explore, and fit perfectly with the theme. Overall, great game and great story, only downside is the controls for the PSVR, and the fact that this is marginally better than all my PSVR games, essentially making the rest seem like a bummer and a let down when i get back to them.

Every kill feels visceral and doesn't seem to get old and every looting run feels immensely rewarding.It's so far beyond what I was expecting and it may not deserve a full ten but in my book it's closer to ten than to nine.VR now has another genre in which there is the best in genre and this is it for Zombie games like Catch & Release was it for Fishing, Creed was it for boxing, Beatsaber for rhythm games, Blasters of the universe for bullet hells, Astrobot was the case for 3d platformers and wipeout VR was so for arcade racing.

Despite some clunkiness of the control system, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is a fun and challenging VR survival game that is also a case for not judging a book by its cover. Bored as I am with Robert Kirkman’s zombie series, there’s no reason to not add this to your PSVR collection.

It’s pretty unforgiving, in that restoringhealth can only ever be done via scarceconsumables, and firearms and their ammoare also incredibly rare. Nonetheless, eachmission is a tense delight. You’ll mostly walkto conserve stamina and avoid drawingattention, yet rasslin’ zombies is unavoidable,and you’ll want to be done before the townbells ring. Throw in humans both friendlyand unfriendly – who will sometimes evenfight among themselves –and you have a wonderfullyoppressive, unpredictable world.And, yes, you get to slatheryourself in guts. Yay!

It’s an experience so rich, rewarding, and interactively creative that it’s likely you’ll want to keep playing long after the last mission, just to lay waste to enemies using upgraded gear, or try out a previously ignored weapon. Most VR games don’t have legs like this, and it’s what pushes The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners into that vaunted category of must-buy PS VR titles.

It's rarely I can say this but for me The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners had dragged the VR platform forward. With its perfect VR implementation, its brilliant control scheme and its visceral combat, it a pure joy to play. A nasty, gruesome edge of the seat joy but a joy nonetheless. Brilliant.

Got the game on PC but I have to work a lot and due to sensitive information on it, I can't have my family use it. However the game is so good I had to get it on PS4 so everyone can enjoy it.It's one of my wife's first games and she now calls herself a "gamer". The kids and I get a laugh when we randomly hear yeps and jumps from the living room. 10/10! The whole family loves it!

All in all, fans of the franchise and genre potentially have a real gem on their hands with The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners , but it requires a lot of work to get there. Right now, the game is still a diamond in the rough — with a bit of polish (or better yet, an Oculus and a powerful PC), there is a lot of fun to be found here. However, if you don’t like cripplingly difficult AI, buggy tracking and hours of picking up firewood, padlocks and shoes with holes in them, perhaps give this one a miss.

This is a tough (and very scary) game, and every system in the game is built to support the idea that you are lone wolf in a very hostile world. Saints and Sinners understands its franchise, and is the scariest The Walking Dead has ever been.

There’s a lot to juggle in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, but it’s not a bad thing since each feature adds a layer of survivalism and immersion. Though certain weapons are uncomfortable, and there’s that NPC audio issue, it’s likely due to being the first available build of the game. The lack of physical crouching is irritating, but the combat, climbing, stealth, and RPG mechanics make up for it, putting you in near-complete control of the character. Every suspenseful moment is an addiction, and it’s an incredible experience all neatly packaged for you to slowly unwrap.
