Combinando jogabilidade e acção no quarto de fuga, Oxide Room 104 é um jogo de terror corporal para um único jogador com osso, ambientado dentro de um antigo motel. Raptado, à mercê de um cientista impiedoso, e perseguido por uma criatura horrível, deve tentar escapar usando o bom senso, tal como faria na vida real. Conseguirá sair de Oxide?
Storyline
Tudo começa quando se acorda na banheira de um quarto de motel, nu, ferido, e sem saber o que aconteceu. Lembra-se que o acordo tinha corrido mal, mas agora a única coisa que importa é tentar fugir daquele lugar horripilante, aconteça o que acontecer. A partir deste momento, tudo o que fizer irá levá-lo a um dos finais. E avisamo-lo que, de todas as formas possíveis de acabar, só há uma boa saída.
Há muitas opções e formas de resolver situações, assim como diferentes caminhos. Algumas acções levá-lo-ão a estados que irão alterar a sua percepção do ambiente e mesmo a um resultado abrupto. Lembre-se que uma má decisão pode ser a diferença entre a vida e a morte.

An acceptable attempt by indie developers based on the unique ideas of cult horror games, but it gradually falls into a stereotype and reveals its shortcomings.
Overall, if you like horror but are fed up with the same overused tropes and want something a little re-energizing then this survival horror/escape room thrill is certainly one to add to your collection. With impressive gameplay ideas, a creepy setting, and some horrific enemies, this is a game that stands out amongst the countless horror titles available on Xbox and it’s one that is well worth a playthrough.
Aside from a few strange or seemingly missing reactions from Matt, there are interesting puzzles, a creepy antagonist, and several nightmarish creatures to kill or avoid throughout the game. Being able to choose which rooms to explore helps to create different experiences over multiple runs. Not every key needs to be used before one of the endings is unlocked, so it will likely take a few playthroughs to figure out how everything in the motel is connected and what's inside all of the rooms in Oxide Room 104.
Oxide: Room 104 can be tiring to many in its clunky, basic animations, and complicated combat. Also, it can be frustrating in many ways, because of the amount of deaths you will suffer, or how demanding it is in terms of the order you must follow to finish it. However, for fans of the horror genre, Oxide: Room 104 is an easy recommendation as long as you don't approach the game with bigger budget games in mind. What this title has to offer is an original, fun, and well thought out experience in terms of gameplay, level design, and puzzle design.
Focusing on puzzles rather than action – most noteworthy encounters are delivered via quick time events – Oxide Room 104 may be rough around the edges but it has a certain something that elevates it above many of its competitors. It has a genuinely oppressive atmosphere, its puzzles are engaging, and its looping mechanic adds a exciting twist. If you’re a survival horror fan looking for something that will occupy an evening or two, this may just fit the bill.
