Because this game has absolutely the WORST controls. Maybe Tallion from the Middle-Earth was as clumsy as Arno. My Dualshock suffered a lot of kicking and throwing because of this game. Even writing this makes me angry.

And does it surprise anyone at this point that the game doesn't look anything like it did at E3? Man, what happened to you Ubisoft?

Thank god I bought this game used and half off, but even so I'm still upset with the amount of money I spent on a game filled with microThank god I bought this game used and half off, but even so I'm still upset with the amount of money I spent on a game filled with micro transactions, content that can only be unlocked if you download the app, the amount of bugs in the game, the fact that it crashed the first st I played it, the amount of bugs, the choppy feeling when navigating, npcs dropping in, the amount of abilities that were previously available in earlier ACs that have been stripped out, the amount of bugs, how painful it can be to get your character to just go where you want him to, and did I mention the bugs? I have been playing these games since the first AC, but the last 2 or 3 installments I've been forcing my way through. This one is just painful and frustrating to play. 0/0 would NOT recommend, if I could go back I wouldn't even pay the $30 for it again.

An excellent and entertaining game that innovates the series but it is ruined by poor optimization. Splendors of revolutionary Paris are flawed by annoying blunders that have been removed only now by Ubisoft.

Look, Assassin’s Creed Unity isn’t a bad game, it’s just not up to the standards of the franchise. It needed more development time – more time to optimize the experience and to get its systems to work smartly.

As I write this, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a bugfest, but technical problems, however annoying, can and probably will be fixed. It is not cracks in textures that it is the most worrying thing about Unity, but the cracks in game design and writing.

If you can put up with the stuttering performance and some comically ridiculous bugs (my favourite was an assassination target moon-walking backwards into my confused assassin’s cavalry sabre) then there’s a decent Assassin’s Creed experience to be found in Unity.

Finding enjoyment in Unity requires a great deal of patience, more than anyone can afford. I want to like the game, and I do to some extent, however I cannot ignore that it’s broken. And there is no patch that can ever save Unity from its tarnished image.

An amazingly beautiful and dull adventurethat takes the series well established elements and let's you repeatthen yet again in an uninspired infinity. Not even hardcore fansshould make excuses for this barely done game of bugs and routinework. Actually they should be the most upset. With Unity the serieshas gone from it's best to maybe it's worst.

The PC version of Assassin's Creed Unity is visually stunning, but it's also very demanding in terms of hardware requirements. If you've got what it takes to run the game smoothly and you like the series, this is the best episode so far.

The micro transaction doesn't bother the gameplay at all because you are required to spend any extra money unless you want to, so I don't know why so many people consider this a bad thing. Bottom line is that, if you are a fan of the series than it's definitely a great direction for the new generation games.

With gorgeous visuals (and some bugs, as usual), Assassin's Creed Unity is more an evolution than a revolution, but what it changed it did it right, giving a new stealth approach and adding a fresh experience with the co-op missions.

Whoever wanted a revolution, not just in the plot but in gameplay terms, will be disappointed. Trying to make combat and parkour more complex and compelling, Ubisoft Montreal overlooked some complications, and that's a shame, since it will show in every aspect of the gameplay. On the other hand, the digital version of the revolutionary Paris is stunning, and there's a lot to play, so fans of the brand will have their fair share of entertainment.

I was looking looking forward to Unity, when it came time to play it, I was very impressed but also very dissipointed. It has graphics that are sometimes downright amazing, I was also impressed with the city itself which was very fun to run around. The missions were also very fun and never got boring. I was dissipointed with the lackluster story and charecters. Also the game glitched a lot and the framerate dropped well below 30 at times, but all in all I had an entertaining time playing it.

Assassin’s Creed Unity improves on the gameplay, the mechanics, the amount of people in the game and the music compared to earlier AC releases - and it even includes a fun co-op mode. Where it falls flat is on the delivery of the open world. It constantly feels like the PS4 is about to break under the pressure of working too hard. Framerate dips, pop up and ins and odd textures will definitely make this a pass for many gamers. We were still able to enjoy the game despite these short comings, but we can’t help but feel disappointed.

Unity doesn’t just play well, it looks beautiful too. The graphics have a stunning painted quality to them that may be attributed to the way that different materials react to the lighting.

The graphic, the setting, the atmosphere is perfect, the characters is well done, the story, although predictable is still pretty good. And I didn't even experience any frame drop, and hardly any glitches at all. Overall, this is definitely the best AC game ( for me at least )

The first thing I noticed was that there are a lot of people, everywhere you go. And I mean a lot. I recall in previous versions of the game that the further you progressed, the more people you would have to navigate through. In the first hour of the game, I have bounced off and worked through thousands of citizens, and it doesn't feel too cluttered. I have noticed some minor glitches running through the crowds (sometimes people further away appear from seemingly nowhere) but frankly it seems to serve as a subtle reminder that I am in the animus and there is a bigger game being played around me.When I play AAA games, I love to see if I am going to get bored quickly, and in Unity, there is plenty to do. The control schematic people have complained about is actually very sound. Trust me...there were a lot more control issues in black flag (how many times did you have to restart a mission because you fell to your death trying to descend a large mast?) and unity provides a much smoother experience than previous games. For veteran Creed players, there is a small learning curve because intuitively, you just want to run head on into walls to jump up, but there are now specific controls to do so. It took a few attempts to get used to it, but it is pretty easy once you get there.The landscapes are massive and beautiful. The characters are the best I have seen in the new generation consoles (although it seems that producing realistic hair is going to be a continued challenge). The story has a familiar feel to when we first met Ezio as opposed to Kenway, but it is fun to play through his progression. I am very satisfied with the game. In response to the micro transactions, here's an idea...actually play through the game and earn your gear. This game is one that needs to be experienced and soaked up at an in depth pace. I have taken some time with it, and feel like I have just scratched the surface and can't wait to enjoy this game for hours on end. I am giving this game a perfect score, because I can't think of anything I would add to the experience. Best next gen game to date by far.

Assassin's Creed Unity is big, beautiful and spectacular, but it's a known game with many graphical bugs. Ubisoft people don't risk, they play to what they believe is insurance.

The PC version of Unity requires a pretty hefty rig to run, and an even heftier one is recommended. That said, those of you who have access to this will find that Unity on PC looks even better than its console brethren thanks to being able to run at resolutions above 900p, enhanced textures, and (hardware permitting) a much higher frame rate than the locked 30fps of the Xbox One and PS4.
