This one is by far my favorite out of all of the games in the series. Warning, puzzle and story spoilers ahead.Puzzle-wise, the game cranks what they have been doing up to a 10. I had to literally bring out an old notebook to write down clues from my side of the puzzle and from my friend's side as well. The second to last room is by far one of the coolest puzzles to me, as you had to mix and split chemicals to create the soulstone. As story goes, it builds upon the previous two game's story, a king who rules with bloodshed (We Were Here, stage puzzle) and the story of sacrifice for eternal life (We Were Here Too, entire map), and continues with the one character forging a soulstone, so that the court jester can help to revive the king, while the other forges a weapon, with no reason known to him why he would need it. The only thing I am not really a fan of is the fact that there is no way for both you and your friend to make it out alive, which is different than the other two games in the series.Overall, an amazing game, and it is definitely worth the money and time to play it.

We Were Here Together falls just short of the snowy peaks it was aiming for, but it is fun and interesting, and really stands out for emphasizing co-op puzzle-solving in a way few games have. So, go out and have some fun. Together.

We Were Here Together is a game with very good ideas that will make you spend a fun time in the company of a friend if you like puzzle games.

If you enjoy puzzles games and have a like-minded friend, then We Were Here Together should definitely be looked at. I figured that since I reviewed the previous game with a friend, I would try this one with a different one to see if I had the same result in communication breakdowns. Sad to say, the results were almost identical, even with a completely different friend this time around. When frustration sets in and things don’t make sense, I promise you, you’re going to end up blaming your co-op partner, regardless if it’s their fault or not. We Were Here Together will give a cooperative adventure unlike any other, but it will surely put your friendship to the test, one that I almost failed, again.

You play as Vi, a Bee, Kabbu a Beetle, and Leif, aBug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is a Paper Art Turn-Based Timing-Driven Adventure RPG. You play as Vi, a Bee, Kabbu a Beetle, and Leif, a Moth. You acquire Leif quite Early, and this remains your team throughout the game. The Ant Queen wants you to embark on a quest to find the Everlasting Sapling, a magical plant that can grant its' owner eternal life. And as short as a bugs lifespan is, I can see where that would be an enticing possession. The game is in every 2D sprite the spiritual successor to the original Paper Mario RPG games. From the charming and quirky dialogue to the over the top colors, Bug Fables succeeds to capture the heart and essence of those classic games. This beautiful art of 2D in a 3D world is also where I found my only complications, as you can have a hard time judging the distance of some jumps, and the game is loaded with platforming. You can change your lead character at any time with the press of a button, and each of the three characters has their own ability the can use to interact with the overworld. Vi can activate switches with a boomerang, and Lief can freeze water to make blocks and bridges. Combat is typical Turn-Based combat, with a timing minigame to enhance your attacks or block incoming attacks If you were a fan of the first two Paper Marios, you will be right at home. Bug Fables: The Everlasting sapling could have a strong following and possibly strong sequels.

We Were Here Together is a pleasant co-op adventure with good puzzles and satisfying player interactions mechanics. It could have had a better storytelling though, and the fact the developers completely ignored the Italian language, even for matchmaking search settings, left us a bit disappointed.

We Were Here Together is a solid example of out of the box, co-op thinking. The puzzles can get a bit too clever for their own good at times, and if you’re not playing with a good friend I’d imagine the frustration will only amplify; but get a reliable buddy, grab you’re note book and there’s plenty of brain teasing fun to be had here.

We Were Here Together is a fun escape the room type of puzzle game with an interesting story and beautiful aesthetic and soundtrack. It’s let down by some unnecessary difficulty and teething console issues with regards to controls.

We Were Here Together on Xbox One provides a good puzzling affair that fans of the series should consider taking in. It’s not as enthralling, engaging or even as immersive as the first title in the franchise, and the issues brought about by character switching and trial and error puzzles are a shame, but should you be able to look past those and the hefty price increase, you’ll find a decent cooperative affair that is unlike any other.

The game ends pretty fast and i would not say it's worth 13 euro. It would have been worth it if the game cost less. You will play it probably like 6 hours or more to beat the game, so you can litteraly complete this game in a day.

We Were Here Together provides a great assortment of co-op challenges that will test your ability to communicate vocally as well as to solve them together.

We Were Here Together wants to be more than just a light-hearted co-op puzzle game. The narrative layer that this must bring, however, especially detracts from the puzzles, which are strongly designed and can stand on their own.

Ultimately, We Were Here Together is a must-play for fans of both co-op adventures and challenging puzzles. There are a few minor issues here and there (especially where the online matchmaking is concerned), but this new entry serves as a delightful cherry on top of an already impressive franchise cake. If you can find a likeminded friend willing to go on this adventure with you, I’d recommend doing so as soon as possible. One the other hand, if you’re still not convinced, I’d suggest picking up the original We Were Here, which is currently free on Steam.

We Were Here Together isn’t going to be for everyone, but if you’re a good communicator and enjoy working together then you really ought to give it a try.

We Were Here Together is, by far, the best installment of the whole series. It’s finally long enough to last you several evenings, it’s much prettier, better to listen to, and its puzzles - finely tailored for two-player cooperation - will torture your mind. It’s just a shame that the story is so weak it’s barely even there.
