I honestly liked it. Of course there are many glitches, sometimes it's way too simple(there is also hard mode, did not tried that) but it keptI honestly liked it. Simple and all about Thieving, nothing else. That is what you want from SIMULATOR anyways.Specific.

Does Thief Simulator succeed in bringing out my younger self and bring back that same joy and excitement that I felt five years ago? No, no it does not. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy myself though. What it lacks graphics-wise and in replay value it makes up with its game mechanics. Who doesn’t want to rob houses and pretend to be a thief in the night?

You get to drive around, steak out potential targets, steal and commit petty crimes to send a message to various residents. There are a LOT of in-game mechanics, from simply navigating, and driving, to picking various kinds of locks and hacking computers. Your main interface is your computer, where you can sell lower value items for a better price to persons looking for specific items on Blackbay, and find Jobs to perform on the side. Breaking and entering is just the tip of the ice burg. With great input, and a rather attentive AI the game is challenging in a very fun way. Anytime there is story progression, you'll get a call from Vinny, Instructing you what to do next. But you are far from limited in thing to do from Vinny's calls. One of the sites you can visit will give you side quests and strong-arm missions, mostly breaking things... Thief Simulator is definitely worth the time to check out as the overall experience is a blast.

Whatever fun there is to be found in Thief Simulator is buried beneath layers of nonsense and bad design. It’s not hard to imagine this being a fun game in the right hands, like a less bloody version of Hitman — but it’s painfully obvious that this game wasn’t made in the right hands.

If you’re tired of Payday 2’s often loud and at-large robbery antics – and you’d like to take a detour into the more quiet vocation of thievery – Thief Simulator has the new career for you. While it’s not the prettiest of games and it soon starts repeating itself, the sense of freedom you’re given to rob neighbourhoods full of unsuspecting victims is still an intriguing one. He might not be Garrett, but The Thief has plenty of skills to steal a place on Nintendo Switch.

I value games about thieves and regret the fact that there are so few of them, so despite some obvious faults I devoted two intense days to Thief Simulator. Thanks to some simple but solid and addictive mechanics I enjoyed it, even though the game’s flaws are obvious. And now I’m waiting for a sequel.

It's not AAA, not AA, not even A game, but you can call it indie game and it's actually good. I wonder if they will work on it. For now it's 7/10, and don't let them fool you, the price is too high. You should wait for a better deal than full price.
