Michonne is terrible in her protagonist role – she is unsociable, cynical and silent. But she is the most mysterious and unusual character from the The Walking Dead. To squeeze player into her skin is a very convenient way to show how she came to such a life.

Subsequent episodes of The Walking Dead: Michonne were issued very quickly. This affected the quality of the final product, and the full story can be completed in few hours. The game fails in many ways and makes us more a spectator than a participant in the events.

Despite it lacking the “wow factor” and extended runtime of the series’ other iterations, it is still worth sauntering out to pick up.

It’s great to explore the background of one of the comic’s more popular characters, but doesn’t significantly push Telltale’s games on from their previous highs.
