This game has elements of Dead Island , RE7 and Alien isolation, in my opinion and mixes aspect from those game very satisfyingly..The production value is low unfortunatly, but they still msnage to make the world look artisticly awsome and the characters interesting.I had trouble finding how this game performed on consoles.. PS4 its 1080p smooth 60 fps.. Xbox 1X its 4K very unstable at 60 , but fine at 30 and PS5 and PC it runs best.I really look foward to this studios next game and

I think of this as my T3 and that there’s nothing else. I really enjoyed the story and how it shows what it’s like living in this apocalyptic future.I would recommend this at its current price to any and all who enjoy FPS & as a must have for Terminator fans.

Your actions have consequences so if you do the side quests which are supplied by characters, you can grow a relationship and change the outcome. These side quests are fetch quests, but they are in the open world mission so you can complete them whilst completing the main mission so it okay.Also there are romance scenes, you don't see anything. I don't really think they are needed, but who cares.You can complete a couple times and it takes around 10 hours for one play through, it took me a bit longer first time.

But as I started the game, and heard the still awesome soundtrack, it finally arrived. It's hard to describe how I felt inside, once I had to hide from the first T800, with that pumping machine drone sound in the background and with a completely useless weapon in my hand.Later in the game, you reach a resistance hideout and it looked so...right. I instantly started to look for a burning tv set...and I found it...I was finally there....*tears up*Still, if you want to be really honest, this is a just-above-mediocre oldschool shooter. The KI isn't good, and the animations of the non-terminator npcs look quite clunky, but I don't care. This is what I always wanted, since Kyle Reese told me about the dogs.7/10 for pure gameplay11/10 for any oldschool terminator fan.

The ai could use some serious work though. So many times I would walk in front of a t 800 and it would just stare at me. Also so many times seeing terminator shooting at random things like the sky and ground for some reason, but it it created so many laughs. The middle to ending of the game I enjoyed it as a terminator fan but the story was kinda short. I wish it was longer. Especially at 60 bucks. I would wait until it's on sale but otherwise I think it was good. Probably the best terminator game to date.

Terminator: Resistance is a scrappy little game with a lot of heart, ambition, and genuinely great design in parts. It definitely could’ve benefited from a more compelling latter half, and the presentation will throw off a lot of people. However, it’s the most accurate interactive translation of the franchise to date, and frankly, a better yarn than many of the films between Judgement Day and Dark Fate.

The Terminator branding is mostly relegated towards the setting and a couple of characters; sadly not a single actor from the series lends their likeness or voice to add any authenticity. One of the few infiltration Terminators seen is designed as a generic looking muscle guy who looks and sounds nothing like Arnold Schwarzenegger despite his outfit being an obvious homage to the first film. Without Terminator aesthetics, this would have been a forgettable and generic action game. More than just being really easy, Terminator: Resistance is also very short. Even when completing most of the side-quests, expect to negotiate the entire experience in less than 10 hours.

Night missions look great and scarry (very nice lighting and fire effects - just like in the movies). You can feel the atmosphere of fear all the time, a mission in the hospital, where we have to sneak between Terminator patrols, without having a weapon that could damage them, is great! I also like the story - better than any Terminator movie after the second part. I hope this game will be successful enough to make the next part. I have waited so many years for a game like this in the Terminator universe and I hope that there will be more of them now.

However, in a world that has subjected the license to countless sloppy video game adaptations, Terminator: Resistance shines among them as a beacon of hope. Teyon won't win any awards for this, but there is a clear love for the Terminator franchise and plenty of effort to back it up. Which is more than can be said about most licensed games, past and present.

Terminator: Resistance on Xbox One does nothing to create an identity for itself. Much like the machines in the game, the whole campaign feels manufactured using resources from other games that did it better – five years ago.

Despite these misgivings though, I had a fairly enjoyable time with Terminator: Resistance. Sure, its mechanics, looks and technical aspects all feel as though the last 10 years of progression in gaming didn’t happen, but as a straight shooting FPS it does a passable job of entertaining. The campaign over stays it’s welcome, but along the way there are some quite likeable characters that make the journey more bearable. It would have been nice to have the death bringing army of machines feel more of a genuine threat rather than a pop up gallery; if the tension in that early scene could’ve been maintained we might have had something quite special on our hands here. As it is, we have a pretty bog standard shooter that feels a decade too late to the party.

Unlike Rambo: The Video Game, Terminator Resistance does not have this thing more (or less) adding a nice aspect to its nullity. Here, production value has grown, Treyon offering this time a title first thought for those wanting to fall asleep in less than two or designed for time travelers, the title edited by Reef Entertainment seems not only zapped movies after T2 but the evolution of FPS and video game for fifteen years. Nevertheless, by drawing all the same here and there in the ideas to success of the kind, it is a beautiful base of student project which is offered to those eager to hurt themselves.

We are clear that Terminator: Resistance does not come to compete with the great first-person shooter, but to demonstrate the possibilities offered by a title based on the universe of John Connor. Fans of the saga already have a title with which to face Skynet.

As a huge lover of the terminator franchise this game is everything I hoped it would be. One of my favourite aspects behind this game is the story-line which allows you to have influence over what happens later in the game. There is also multiple side missions you can complete to build a good reputation with the other story characters. I definitely recommend this game if you are looking for something to kill the time and have fun! So far through what I have played it has been enjoyable and exciting to run through.
