You wake up here after your airship is struck by lightning, and you aren't alone. You're awoken by a buddy unit, that will be your ally for the rest of the game, you will be able to use it to scout an area, and later for many more useful things. Outbuddies is a nostalgic delve into a new world. The controls are crisp and responsive, allowing you the ability to make split-second decisions that will inevitably save your life many times along your adventure. The soundtrack is incredible adding so much to the already great environment the game presents. The map is large and even crosses over itself, making the navigation a strategic choice later in the game. Outbuddies scratches an itch that few games have been able to for a while.
