A massive LEGO game fit for the massive Skywalker saga. However, it is quite annoying to go back and forth in this huge game and do the same things. Someone who is not very related to Star Wars may not deign to play after a few episodes.

I anticipated this game very much, but it did not meet my expectations. There's a lot of unlockables, so much one can do, but I think that that takes away from the game because it provides the player with less direction. For example, there's a LOT of Kyber Bricks hidden across the galaxy, but there's not much point in getting them, since you just use them to upgrade characters or unlock more content. The content is cool to try out sometimes, but it just feels like there's too much in the game. Unlike the Gold Bricks in Complete Saga, there's not as much puzzle in trying to get Kyber Bricks-- you just need to have the right characters or a bit of speed and skill. You also don't need to find out what happens in the story since it's based on the movies. Overall, they definitely put a lot of work into this game, but there was nothing particularly special about it.

Feels like the space battles with the crusiers could have been expanded upon, and the story feels very rushed, like I understand this is lego but at times this game felt like I was watching the rise of skywalkers opening act but a tad slower. Pacing is weird and levels are short. and for those who wanted to enjoy the prequels with clone wars VAs it's kinda rushed due to the fast pacing.

Overall though there’s actually very little to criticise about The Skywalker Saga. It’s a perfectly constructed love letter to a series of films that will appeal to young and old alike. The force is strong in this one.

Warning: SpoilersLego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga is an absolutely amazing experience, with many planets to explore and plenty of collectibles to find, this game will keep you busy for a long time. The amount of references, and Easter eggs is absolutely astounding, and the sense of humor never ceases to make me laugh. The actual story levels, however, leave something to be desired at times. There are times where instead of giving the player the ability to play through and experience a section that would've been playable in the original, or would've been interesting to play through now, it's just glossed over in a cutscene. Like the actual rescue of Palpatine after defeating Count Dooku. I understand that these games are aimed towards a younger audience, and that the open world is at the forefront of the experience, but these aspects have been done better in previous games from TT games, even in 2016's The Force Awakens Lego game. Overall, the game does a good job at making its innovations, but can fall short a bit in doing what the Lego games have done before with its story levels.

The only problem is the glitches. I’m assuming the graphical glitches are primarily on only just the switch version. Which are fine they aren’t that bad. But there are a lot of soft locks a lot of crashes, and even some reported hard locks so gotta dock it points there, but assuming these glitches will be fixed this game has almost no flaws.

The reason why i feel this boredom is because after I completed the story, I was only left with collecting the remaining amounts of collectables and nothing else really. There are no free play encounters on planets (on ground) where a group of enemies would start fighting you and you cannot provoke a fight to happen by hitting a coruscant guard (they just run away from you), for example. Collecting bricks can be repetitive and boring and collecting one character can take quite some time considering the vast amount of characters to be collected. I just wish there were more things to do in free play other than collecting bricks, data cards and characters.

This game would have been a dream come true when I was younger and I have some nostalgia for the Original lego Star Wars games. But after completing the episodes from the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy it feels like I've done everything the game as to offer with only episodes from the horrible Sequel Trilogy movies left to complete. If you are a completionist of lego games like I am you will certainly get your money's worth with the huge amount of content this game has to offer. With over 300 characters and over 50 ships to unlock etc tho after completing main story I felt like I've had my fill. This game was refreshing to play with all the disappointing games that have been released recently. Conclusion:This game is a no brainer and a must have for fans of Lego and Star Wars to pick up. Give it a shot even if all you want is to relive the feeling of playing The Complete Saga it can bring back fond memories like it did for me. I give this game a 7.5/10
