Overall it feels like a chore or maybe i am speaking for someone already in 30s, but i don't think young audience can finish this game. Its difficulty is unnecessary not in a way that its gameplay is difficult but more on finding the next button to click is difficult to find and i encounter bugs that makes it impossible to complete. They invested a lot of effort in this game from the scale of its open world, how depth the loots and things to collect but it never catch my interest even a bit. Assuming this is design for kids i really don't think they can finish this specially there are bugs that prevents you to progress the story.Its upsides really never gets me. i just need to finish this so i can delete and never get back

However, there were 15-20 playable characters throughout the story missions.Customizing characters was my favorite part. It was so entertaining to make your own characters and give them different abilities and weapons.There were also some problems that I encountered with in the game.The first problem ,which was noticeable from the very first moment in the game, was that there were too many unnecessary (and UNSKIPPABLE!) cutscenes which really slowed pace of the game.The other thing is, I think Tt really has to get out of the idea of "beat the boss, finish the mission". Because it makes every mission look similar.One of the other problems was the map. In my opinion, combining different cities from different times was not a good idea for a open-world game. It wasn't attractive at all to explore the map. I just picked a character which could fly so that I could get into the mission faster!Generally, it's not a bad game to play but compared to other LEGO games, it's a bit off-colour.(March - April 2021)

Fun and quirky, a nice little treaat for most Marvel fans that at the end of the day isn't much more than that. Enjoyable? Yeah. Good? Eh...sorta.

There's no counter for the tasks completed in the free roam map, which makes the game really frustrating to complete at 100%. I had to create and play a second save to unlock the platinum for one bugged trophy. The focus of this game should be only the main story and the other extra mission. Don't add a free roam map if you can't handle it.

It still has some of the flaws inherent in many of the other Lego titles on the market but, at its core, it’s a strong title with solid gameplay and humor. Most importantly, it’s a licensed game from a developer that clearly knows and appreciates the license, and that frequently shines through. With a script co-written by classic Avengers scribe Kurt Busiek and a plethora of new heroes and villains to play as, Marvel fans of all ages will find a lot to love.

Unfortunately no changes are evident in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, but this doesn’t hold it back in terms of the fun factor. If you like an array of characters then you will love this game. Each character has been done really well and the best thing is that no character has been left undervalued. As usual with LEGO game’s there is a huge amount of content to sink your teeth into and I’ve already sunk a huge amount of hours in and it still remains fun, which is great. You will notice though that the game does suffer with a few technical issues and these can be game-breaking at times. I also suffered with a few problems when it came to the controls in the game, and whenever they went unresponsive it did make me become frustrated quite considerably. Something that will ease that frustration is the story in the game. The story is very interesting and packed full of humour, and the best thing is that the humour used is actually pretty funny. The campaign in the game works perfectly with the story and has a lot of variety, and I only wish there was this much variety with the gameplay mechanics. I found the presentation side of the game to be extremely well done, especially when it came to the sound design. The sound design is definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had in a LEGO game so far and a special shout out has to go to the voice actors. At the end of the day fans of LEGO game’s will once again find enjoyment here, but I must admit that some parts of the game’s style are starting to grow stale. Some changes are definitely needed in my opinion and when you combine this with the technichal issues the game has then you can become quite frustrated. It is however not a bad game and it has lots of fun throughout, there are however better LEGO games out there but it does just enough to get a thumbs up from me.

I wanted to love it and, for the most part, I did. In spite of the bugs, in spite of the pedestrian voice cast, and in spite of the missing X-Men characters there is a lot to enjoy in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. If you are a fan of LEGO games and/or a fan of Marvel, this game was made for you. Between Wong sweeping the Sanctum Sanctorum, Ms Marvel taking selfies with the heroes, and Star-Lord dancing to his very own Mix Tapes LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 kept a smile on my face.

While it's true that a LEGO game will never surprise anybody, the individual games can still be tons of fun – especially when you like the property involved. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a blast for Marvel fans, with hundreds of characters great and small, 20 huge levels with full co-op support, and a vast and beautiful open world to explore. True believers will get more than their money's worth from this one.

I revised the score down from 9, on account of the bugs, which are plentiful. So far I've found work-arounds, but the basic rule of thumb is that if it feels like you're stuck for no reason, you probably are. End game and try again with different moves.Can't wait to finish Story Mode so I can check out what's available in the open areas :-)

While the number of playable characters is just as impressive as Chronopolis as a vibrant and varied open hub world, in terms of mechanics this is one of the least innovative Lego adventures in a while. But thanks to the script with its mostly toned down humor it still is fun to play.
