The main villain is super charismatic and the soundtrack is just amazing. A really beautiful experience.

If you're a fan of flashy action-ish play style of games, this game is definitely for you however, if you're a fan of old final fantasy titles this one truly disappoints.+ A lot of things to do.+ Open world-ish- Since its a final fantasy title, I expect a good story.- Too many fetch quest. It makes the game more like an online game.- You can definitely finish the game in under 30-20 hours.- If you level up too much, the game will be easy as hell.Note:I can recommend this game especially to new comers. Also, FF fans should deal with this game because SE is trying to transition to this kind of play style. FF VII remake will be kind of this game too.

Final Fantasy XV is not the game Square Enix promised us. It’s not an open world game that everyone would enjoy, and even though it looks like they have done a great deal in making it more accessible to newcomers, it has more improving to do. If you are a die-hard Final Fantasy fan, you will have a great time thanks to a beautiful world, easy to learn and fun combat mechanics and a classic story about friendship and love.

Final Fantasy XV is definitely a memorable tale told with impressive production values. However, it's plagued by gameplay that basically plays itself, insufferable wait times, and a story that fails to establish itself before thrusting you into its world.

Final Fantasy XV is one of 2016's best games, and definitely a must have. Its story will catch you and make you go through Noctis’s troubles, and it is worth playing till the end to discover how all is ended. The side quests are enriching and interesting too. This ten-years-long wait has been worth it.

This is one of my favourite games of the year and it's one I'd encourage any previous Final Fantasy fan to consider. Besides the brilliant nods to the series past — adorable retro touches like pixel art character menus and classic game soundtracks you can buy in servos and listen to in the Regalia — this is a game that's doing something new and great with what's come before. It's the fondest I've felt about the series since VIII.

If you are a fan of Final Fantasy it will be a change of pace from the previous titles, but there is plenty about this game that IS Final Fantasy.P.S. i don't know why people are saying the graphics are bad, i never had any frame rate issues, and the game looks great.

It corrects all the missteps the series has taken over the past few iterations and offers an accessible game for fans and newcomers alike.

Only kernels of Final Fantasy’s old style remain in FF XV, which is both liberating and frustrating. The game does indeed chart a new course for the franchise, and it’s a fun new course...It is not a course that every old Final Fantasy fan is destined to love.

Final Fantasy XV is a tremendous return to the franchise and includes a lot things we love about the series. I experienced a few missteps here and there, but it didn’t deter from an overall great experience.

The special effects in combat also work extremely well and don't seem to cause any major fps drops (atleast with PS4). The combat system of this game is also one of the most addicting ones I have witnessed, it starts out slowly and adds up to be quite diverse with link strikes, short term god mode, spells, summons and a wide variety of weapons to choose from. The only disadvantages I found in combat are the camera which can sometimes be annoying and the fact that the flow of combat must often be interrupted (changing gear through menus mid-combat, changing from Active to Wait mode in combat etc.).Now for the story elements. The main story itself is quite engaging but the best part are your travelling companions who are truly the backbone of this game. Roaming the world with them really feels like a trip with your friends (with some touching insight into their psyche sometimes involved -I'm looking at you Prompto) and ultimately ends up absolving this game of its vices. The biggest problem with the game however are the side-quests.They are completely uninspired and completely disconnected from the game's events. Some really tragic stuff is going down in the main line and you are running around catching frogs. In addition, the quests are extremely repetitive (find gem, bring gem, get another quest to bring another gem) and the rewards are somewhat mediocre themselves, so you will mostly run around doing repetitive and boring side quests to accumulate experience. One partial solution around this would have been if they had adjusted the main storyline a bit beforehand to offer some purpose to the future king running around playing everyone's doormat (Like they did with the soul-saving mechanism in Lightning Returns)Overall, if you can overlook the issue with the side quests (seriously, who thought of them?), this game is totally worth diving into and will reward you with some memorable moments.

While it occasionally buckles under its own ambition and the game falters somewhat as the plot ramps up, overall Final Fantasy XV is a beautiful, exciting game that I dearly loved. It may not be the best game I've played this year, but it is almost certainly my favorite, and Square Enix has built an incredible, extremely unique open-world.

As an open roleplaying world Eos is just in the minor leagues. Beautiful to look at but filled with redundant and basic fetch- and kill-quests, it is too evident, that Square’s open world experience stems from MMOs. Nonetheless, the fresh real-time battle system is a risk that I truly can appreciate, while storytelling and imaginative characters showcase the return of Square’s strengths that have been forgotten during the FF13-trilogy.

Final Fantasy XV is a unique offering, both for the franchise and RPGs in general. Placing the onus on the relationships of your party, rather than the narrative, has meant that this is a game that strikes not just an emotional chord, but a personal one. While Final Fantasy stalwarts will likely balk at the action-heavy combat, the spirit of the franchise remains, and is better served here than it has been in many years.

Now one of the things that makes this game amazing is the gameplay. It's easy to use, adjustable and comfortable both for those who knows the game and those who has just started. On the one hand is pretty exciting having Multiplayer in future, it'd be a great experience, if they make something worth it.Unfortunately we also got bad news, some missions are way too repetitive, so that means you gotta run long distances to get to your mission checkpoint and tends to get exhaustive sometimes but is an open world game, where you can enjoy full detailed landscapes, random battles and funny comments from the characters. We can't let these small details ruin us the game. We know it has been a long wait and we expected more but let's give a chance, I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it.

This isn't probably the Final Fantasy you were expecting, nevertheless it's one worth your time. it is far from being a perfect game, mainly because of a terrible second half, but it succeeds where other Final Fantasy have failed: bringing the saga into the modern era.

However the real downer is the Xbox One graphics are super blurry! All the backgrounds look obviously blurry, kinda like that Call of Duty low-res blur. Also, the NPC's suck in the cities. I walked up to one, heard him say something, then walked to the next side and it was the exact same NPC saying the exact same thing. They didn't even bother to create different NPC's. Another bunch of NPC's were sitting at a dinner table, talking about how good the food is, but there was no food on the table, it was empty.This game could get better, but so far it bears all the signs of being stuck in development hell.

The battle system is so good and the game has the best dungeons in all FF series. I loved Princess Luna, she is so cute and strong.

Final Fantasy XV hides a convoluted, 10 year-long development behind every corner and desperately struggles with its own identity. Fans of the franchise might find the new open world structure a bit disappointing especially because it hurts a narrative that finds some coherence in the second half of the game and goes straight to an emotional and very divisive ending.

There is so much good here, so much heart - especially in the relationships between Noctis and his sworn brothers. It just comes with some changes and compromises that were, at times, difficult for this long-time Final Fantasy fan to come to grips with.
