O criador do Crysis 3 The Lost Island CD Key é a Crytek, uma criadora alemã de jogos e Electronic Arts, a sua editora. É um jogo de tiro que é jogado na perspectiva da primeira pessoa. Pertence ao jogo da série 'Crysis' lançado em 2011 e é a terceira parcela, a correr no motor de jogo CryEngine 3. Anunciado oficialmente a 16 de Abril de 2012, este jogo tinha sido lançado a 19 de Fevereiro de 2013 na América do Norte.
A jogabilidade do jogo é sobre um detentor de um Nanosuit chamado Prophet, cuja missão é vingar-se do líder da raça alienígena Ceph chamada 'Alpha Ceph' e da CELL Corporation. O principal protagonista da "Crysis Warhead", Psycho, acompanha o Profeta na sua missão e é controlado pela IA. O enredo do jogo é o fim da trilogia "Crysis". Esta prestação introduziu novas funcionalidades dentro da jogabilidade, que incluem a funcionalidade de hacking e novo arco composto, bem como Rip and Throw, modo de jogo multijogador assimétrico conhecido como o 'Hunter' e a habilidade Nanosuit. Foi dada uma resposta positiva ao jogo após o seu lançamento pelos críticos e o seu design de nível, multijogador e visual foram elogiados. O jogo também tinha ganho vários prémios antes de ser lançado para o público. No entanto, não conseguiu corresponder às expectativas da empresa comercialmente.

Beautiful maps with a great sense of nostalgia from the first game in the series. Major downside though is that with an already tiny community, very few players will be playing this DLC making it very hard to find anywhere to play. Should have been a free release but that's a laughable concept to game developers these days, I know.
