I enjoy the game, it's super fun and I recommend the game at the release price.The game starts off confusing and a bit crowded but that confusion will soon leave as tags, events, and the world starts making more sense as you progress and unlock more. There are many things to do, you wont be able to do them all whether thats trying to find a mystery to solve, hunt down some hidden truths, or just grind out your Youtube channel.

Aside from all the quest issues, I like the idea behind YouTubers Life 2. To me, it perceives itself as a fun and unique gaming experience, though feel like it’s not polished enough to where I’d spend a ton of time in it. While I've not played the first YouTuber’s Life, I think I’m going to find another place to live and move out of NewTube City.

The sometimes shaky features combined with the merciless passage of time are both stressful and frustrating, as it feels like you're missing out on what each day has to offer. Having to race against the clock and make painful choices is not very relaxing. If you are not too competitive in managing your YouTube channel as well as the layout of your home, and if you enjoy the social interactions with the strange inhabitants of New Tube City, you can have a pretty good time.

Poorly planned imo) and lastly, the need to go out and take photos! Walking around is fun but it obligates you to do so to get pictures and, as I mentioned before, since it's really hard to navigate through the map, you may lost your game-day on this.I also felt REALLY HARD to make money and progress on the game! I never managed to get a video higher than 3 stars and when my character leveled up with game play, the cards didn't worked anymore and the game didn't showed me how to make it better, like a skill tree or such! And, since you can only record, edit and post one video per day cause your energy runs out REALLY quickly and food on the game is expensive as hell and the cheapest ones don't do much for your energy bar, you'll soon feel stuck at random generated ratings and cards to use during the recordings.During my play through the computer that my character uses to edit and render the videos broke, the HD and the processor, may I ask you, who do I fix this without money? Like I said, is really hard to get money on the game so this kind of comportment just made me feel even more stuck!And now the bugs. The game is still really buggy, I use two screens on my setup and I needed to restart the game 3 times just cause it started to ignore my mouse! When I pet a cat it bugged and I couldn't get away from it, needing to restart the game! Want to make videos about your "new setup"? well, good luck! The game didn't showed me the prompt to record a video inside my character's house even once!So, imo, this game wasn't a good experience. New gamers might like it but the ones who played its predecessor might find it hard to get into it.It has really bad issues with bugs and scripted story lines with a immersion that can be easily broken and hard to follow (you'll need to find a guy in an allay on that map! That was kind of annoying and it gets worse with the delivery quests), and might find hard to find/follow the trends and the evolution of your characters levels and your computer/recording needs.

Most of the tasks will require your energy (stamina). And if you run out of it, you can’t do anything else unless you eat some food or start a new day by going to bed. Also make sure you go to bed before 4am. Or something bad will happen to you.In this game you will need money – lots of money! Just like any business, capital is important for growth because you need to upgrade your computer hardware like cpu, gpu and hdd more often than not because the ones you currently have will not be working forever! And for the drone, you need to continually upgrade its functions i.e. to capture pictures during the rain or at night. In addition, you need to constantly upgrade your video recording and editing skills, your look and room customisation to appeal to more fans. In a daily game loop, you check your phone to see what’s trendy for that particular day. You visit places to take pictures or make videos according to the #thingy on the trend and post them on Instalife or NewTube. You can use Instalife where other people post pictures about the trend, so you can visit those places right away easily without wandering around. However, most of the time, you do gaming things, so you have to spend on consoles and lots of games too. What’s more, you can check out daily job and earn a commission. You can also improve your relationship with the locals by talking to them or doing jobs for them.The main quest is like your long-time goal, for example to reach a certain Youtuber tier level so that you can get i.e a VIP card to access a new area. And your side quest is like your current struggles i.e. you save money to buy a new HDD.It’s worth pointing out that time does fly in this game! There are many things to do and explore but you have to keep you eyes on the clock. In my playthrough, I didn’t need to eat anything because I wanted to explore more and do more things against the clock. And stay vigilant! After the midnight, the clock turns red to warn you, but there’re no sound alerts and you might miss it, anyway. There’s a date bar but not a complete calendar, so you cannot check the upcoming events. And there’s no ‘confirm buy’ option and you might accidently buy something you don’t want because of your itchy random press on the button. Besides, fps issues can persist in some areas like the City Hall and the beach during the stormy day. However, it’s smooth like butter in the Downtown. It, however, didn’t hinder my experience that much as it is a life sim and I was a chilling player. I think it can be fixed in the future updateConclusionI never played the original Youtubers Life game, but this sequel is surprisingly very good. The gameplay is immersive! And there is a great variety to it. For me, it didn’t feel like a chore to do different things on a daily basis because they were all fun to do anyway. Plus, I could choose how I played it.
