The game play, the story, the world is all masterful. While some people complain about the performance, It is actually quite impressive for the switch and performance is not everything when it comes to video games. I've never cared more about characters more in a video game before, each one is complex and I was always waiting to see how their arcs would be resolved. The combat is complex but it is explained very well to the player, Unlike the previous entry to the series which seemed complex just for the sake of being complex. The class system lets you completely change the way you play to how you want to. I really liked a certain character but did not like their class and perfect playing as a healer, but with a press of a button, boom! i'm a different class that plays completely differentThe world is huge and vast with many breathtaking views and incredible landscapes. Say what you want about this game's performance, you can't deny that the art style is amazing. Each NPC and character has a unique and charming design, that just makes you care about each of them even more. No spoilers, but the games story seems rather simple at first, but as you progress you will learn to take nothing and face value. It has more twists and turns then I can count, and a plot twist for the ages. If you are looking to get into JRPGS, are a long time fan of the series, or even if you don't think it's your cup of tea, I can't recommend it enough. it might just be my favorite game of all time, and it's by far the best game on switch. Therefore, I give Xenoblade Chronicles 3 a 10/10.

Game literally improves on all its predecessors. Walking animations actually stick to the ground. Lip sync is not god awful like Xenoblade 2. Xenoblade 2 was unacceptable with the voices and animations. No blade gacha system, and the character designs literally fit in the universe, unlike XB2 where every antagonist looks like they are from Final fantasy and each blade was designed by random artists (which they were.) Also, no overly designed characters. Why was Dahlia even a thing...? Combat is much more engaging than any of the previous games. Literally, 7 customizable characters that fight together. Extremely chaotic and fun. Heavily recommend this game!

Masterpiece, they keep introducing new mechanics way past the opening chapters, this could be complicated but everything is explained and the slow approach makes it feel like im learning and even evolving the characters. Many games i just put down, but this i cant put down.Handheld or docked, i like both. It runs very good in my opinion and is contrary to many jrpgs a full fletched game. I love it.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 reflects all of the maturity accumulated throughout the last 12 years by a franchise that struggled to survive since its very first game, which was released by Nintendo in the West only after fan petitions. The game streamlines the action, gets rid of juvenile erotization and tells a story with heroes that talk like actual human beings, while simultaneously refining the exploration and world-building that already shone in its predecessors.
