The gameplay, is actually better and more fun than any other wrestling game ive played in years. Sure a lot of stuff was taken out, its barebones right now, but i really hope they build on what they have. For the first time in a wrestling game, since the N64days of WWE Wrestlemania an dNo mercy etc, i feel i coul lose a match, even if i play really well. This aspect of sports games, is so important and is a reason i love NBA 2K15/16 so much, even if i play great, i might still lose. They need to build on this for the next wrestling game. Since i only have a PC and am only interested in teh PC platform as a gaming console, I'm going to have to wait for WWE 2K16 to come onto the PC platform through STEAM , hopefully they have built onto this system they have now and made it more challenging as a single player experience. On the harder difficulty, i want the feeling that i might lose even if i play well. That will keep me coming back for more and it will make me enjoy universe mode more to, as ill never truly know the outcome of any game i play. Im giving this a 7 because they do need to add a lot of stuff and improve the modes more. But as far as gameplay goes, i think they are onto the right track. This game could be really challenging adn fun to play in a few years if they keep this up.

An example of this is the stunning and beautiful graphics, the fun and enjoyable showcase mode or its most realistic wrestling to date. While these are steps forward for the WWE games it also has many disappointing areas to them, these include the weak customisation, same old bad commentary that has been present for years, lack of match types, TERRIBLE online play and its biggest offence MyCareer. This was the mode everyone was really excited and hyped for and it turned out to be a huge disappointment with boring easy matches with no story behind them, and pointless match after pointless match (very similar to current dat WWE) with no payoff at the end with an out of nowhere and terrible ending to a big disappointment of a mode, that leaves a sour taste in your mouth after you get through the 15 hour plus boring grind feast that is this mode.In conclusion this game looks and feels great, but with a lack of content around this, it doesn't do enough and will leave you wanting a more fleshed out and better game. Overall it lays the foundation for a great WWE game, but still has a way to go before that is a reality.

The concept of making it more realistic was a good idea, but it's not fun to fall every 5 seconds. The career mode was better than the 30 Years of Wrestlemania, because it actually had a custom superstar going through the different stages of being a WWE Superstar. Speaking of Superstars, the roster is very unsatisfying; I understand this was made in the 2014 year, but the roster lacked any of the superstars we wanted to play as. Unless you want to play as Darren Young. Wait, you didn't want to? Well you can, only in WWE 2k15, folks! I didn't think this game was horrible, the game does have some pretty cool things in it, such as improved commentary and showcases, but the game lacks the things that make it a wrestling game. In conclusion, WWE 2k15 is like expecting a good game, but then getting beat by Heath Slater; yeah, about 5% of you get that joke. 2k14 is the better game out of the two, and you'd be better off buying that than this game. This game isn't bad, but it lacks the content to make it memorable. WWE 2k15 gets a 5/10

Sure the graphics may be great, but that doesn't stop this game from being such a mess. The reduced game modes, matches, and wrestlers makes this game feel like nothing more than average. The MyCareer was too repetitive and didn't feel like the career you'd hope you'd experience. At least the new animations and realism adds some positive thought to this game. Still waiting for that great next-gen wrestling game.
