Telltale at its peak, loved the entirety of this experience and it had possibly the most compelling story in any game I've played to date.

This is one of the best visual novel games I've ever played, though it feels much more like a TV series than a VN. Terrifically animated and voiced, it brings the Fables universe to life in the way fans hoped the proposed television adaptation would have done. The only negative thing I can say about it (other than that it ended too soon!) is the shadowing can be a little bit all over the place at times. But the characters are well written, the story is engaging from start to finish, and the choices you make have legitimate consequences. What more can one ask for in this type of game?

I enjoyed the bonus content too, which shouldn't be overlooked. Caveat, this game contains some nudity, and obviously violence. It's not for a younger audience. Keep in mind too that this is a Tell Tale production. It is considered a game but is closer to being an interactive book. If you're looking for something with a stromg story this could be worth a purchase. It's best played on PC; avoid the Wolf Among Us on the Xbox 360 (as it doesn't work at all).

I have no idea how to describe it, maybe it's just the post-telltale game euphoria that's talking but, this game feels better than all the rest. To put this into an example , after playing TWD, TFTBL, and GOT, I did not buy the comics or merchandise, but after this game, I bought all the Volumes of Fables, including the Comic adaptation of this game. Even as someone unfamiliar with the Fables comics in which this game is based on I still felt fully invested in it's world. Prior reading isn't required to fully understand or enjoy the game.Just like previous Telltale games there are a lot of choices to be made. There are dark moral dilemmas that are up to you decide the outcome of. Not only that, but you are also choosing exactly what kind of person the playable character "Bigby" is.Do you give into the dark urges of the wolf beneath the skin? Or do you try to redeem yourself as the cop who plays things by the rules? No matter what kind of person you shape Bigby to be you are rewarded. It feels good to do the "right" thing, but it's just as satisfying to give into your violent tendencies. Especially when dealing with the scumbags of Fabletown.Restraint or excessive force? That's for you to decide. With incredible writing brought to life by fantastic voice acting, incredibly satisfying action sequences, and a gripping mystery all the way through, Telltale's wolf delivers just as much as their zombies. If you can overlook the technical issues the game delivers in just about every way. It's a dark and mature tale. One shaped by your actions. A game I highly recommend checking out.

With graphics that remind you of Borderlands, and a similar play style to the Walking Dead game series, this game will have you hooked almost instantly. It has an awesome story line that plays off of the Fable comics series that is broken down into different episodes and chapters. It quickly develops characters that you will either sympathize with or hate which plays great into how the game is played.The game plays like a crime mystery where you investigate many crime scenes searching for clues. In almost every scene, the player is left to make his or her own decisions that are going to directly affect the story line. This ranges from being nice or rude in conversation or walking away instead of ripping someones limb off. It also makes you chose which areas you think are most important to investigate and which leads you think make the best sense to follow up on. After each episode, the game recaps what you chose to do and how that stacks up against what everyone else in the community chose to do. (This made me realize the Xbox Live community really prefers violence over liberalism LOL)This game is not for someone who's looking for something challenging, skillful or action packed. It's for someone who's looking for a great story and the ability to affect the outcome with a series of decisions. The story and characters are so well done by DC Comics that it feels like a movie that I am deciding the outcome of.

The main characters are superb, the voice acting is very strong, mixed with violence and mature content. The deep atmosphere of the 5 chapters catched me, so i spend without a minute to bore in this game 8 hours, and it´s worth it, one of TTG finest pieces.

Despite some niggling concerns, The Wolf Among Us is well worth the budget price attached to both digital and physical versions.

The first and last episodes remain some of Telltale’s finest work, helping anchor a dark, involving narrative. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s a chain- smoking, bourbon-drinking pig. What more do you want?

It's a triumph of tight plotting, wild imagination, and sure-handed direction. It's a game that never flinches in taking its story and its chain-smoking protagonist everywhere it can.

The story is addicting, with cliff hangers at the end of each episode and a lot of plot twists.The dialogue choices often don't make much of a difference but many of them do, along with some other major choices. The fighting can be pretty fun and is definitely a joy to watch.Overall, a pleasurable 9 hour experience, the whole way through. The ending was wrapped up nicely (no major plot holes) with a *slight* cliffhanger at the end, JUST enough to get you excited for Season 2.

The Wolf Among Us is yet another good game from Telltale Games. One major flaw is dismissing some characters - that's the reason the first season of The Walking Dead is and will be a better offering. Everything else - from the atmosphere to the storyline - is really good. Apparently Lee and Clementine's adventure wasn't a one-time high quality offer. I can recommend this game with a clear conscience.
