I love Lee and Clementine as characters.TWD New Frontier & Michonne are obvious weak points for me, but S1 is really great and even S2 is solid imo. It's when they try to get you away from Clementine that the game begins to lose its luster for me. I was very worried going into the Final Season that it was gonna be a letdown but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a really solid game. There are a few new things about it that bothered me, but overall? I'd argue it's up there with S1 in terms of quality, and that's a massive compliment. It's not as good as S1, but it was almost equally enjoyable to play through for me. Almost. Was a pretty great ending to a great series and a couple of great characters that you actually end up caring about a ton.

You get fully absorbed in the story and it branches to different paths you can take depending on the choices you make. Many characters to love, hate, and relate to. This game utilizes some quick critical thinking, pulls on your heart strings, and the best part is it is replayable for different outcomes for their fate. You are thrown into a world full of chaos at every turn and trying to survive and keep you and yours intact. My only gripe is that they don't give you the option to play this on android for free after purchasing the package deal on console. They don't feel for their obsessive fans lol :( . I'd love to be able to take this on the go to play but don't want to break bank to do it, even though it is tempting since the story is quite good.

While the closure of one of my favorite studios is a sad cliffnote to the series, Clementine’s journey is one of the most notable and memorable stories I’ve experienced in any medium previously, largely due to the perfect performances by the voice over cast and writing team at Telltale. Sometimes it’s hard to say goodbye to something you love, and while I’ve already said my goodbyes to Clementine and her story, it’s a journey that I’ll always treasure having experienced over the course of nearly a decade.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series brings together some of the best narrative games of the last decade in a package that celebrates not only the series, but every single person – be they creators, actors or fans – that has been there along the way. If you’ve never experienced the series before, this collection is now the perfect opportunity to jump in.

For newcomers, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is an easy purchase, since you're getting every game in the series at an excellent discount. If you've experienced the game before, the proposition of going back is dependent on whether you want to experience the game again with better graphics and fewer bugs. If you're a super fan, the abundance of extras will be tempting enough to warrant the double-dip. No matter your stance, the collection still holds up, and this is a lasting example of what made Telltale stand out in the first place.
