Ultimately this pack is simply meh ,So sadly 5/10

The price of £34.99 shocked me considering the price of the base game is around a similar price. But this Island Living DLC for The Sims 4 on Xbox One does add a significant chunk of extra stuff.

Compared to the predecessors Island expansion this does even worse than the others, offering little more than a few themed clothes and hairstyles and a very small collection of beach properties that allow you to use the few new gadgets like boats or swimming in the ocean. And you can become a mermaid. Which means that you look like one, and that's it. I've come to expect no depth to expansions for this one, but this DLC lacks in quality AND quantity. There is absolutely nothing you can do, and you will read the word "relaxing" a lot in reviews. That is one way to put it. You can relax even more if you don't buy it.

But, there isn't much to explore in this expansion pack unlike Strangerville and Jungle Adventure, and those were game packs! This is a 40 dollar expansion pack, it is still fun but there was so much potential that was just not used. Also this expansion pack broke the Vampires game pack and now you can't do dark meditation, thanks EA.
