The Last Tinker: City of Colors

Know somebody who might be like this game?

Summary

The Last Tinker: City of Colors (previously known as Tink) is a 3D action adventure game set in Tinkerworld, where everything can be built from basic materials as long as the idea behind it is strong enough. Cities, forests, mountains and seas are crafted from nothing more than color, paper and glue. It is a fantastic place, born solely of the imagination and creativity of its inhabitants.
Recently, however, petty quarrels and disagreements have caused discord among the inhabitants of Tinkerworld and they have halted all creative ventures. Now a slowly creeping Bleakness threatens to blot out Tinkerworld and to erase all color and life, leaving nothingness in its wake.
Help the young boy Koru save Tinkerworld from the all-devouring Bleakness. Use the power of those colors to aggravate (red), frighten (green) and grieve (blue) your enemies as you manipulate them to solve logical puzzles and overcome various obstacles. Explore the beautifully handcrafted districts of Colortown with agile Koru in free-running fashion and meet various fantastical and charming creatures. Return the colors to Tinkerworld in this tale about the power and beauty of imagination.

The art and environment are very well done but the gameplay is just far too simple to be worth my time. I like games that provoke thinking and encourage creativity but this game is a linear theme park. Companion bro is SAAAH CUTE. I bought it on sale because I loved the dev's other game Shadow Tactics and on their website they advertise this game as the winner of over 14 awards, but these are more visual art awards rather than gameplay awards. This game would have been great when I was 10 years old but at this point in my life it doesn't pique my interest.

A very beautiful world that's very colorful. I love the puzzle-solving epidemic in this game and the usage of different kinds of colors. TheA very beautiful world that's very colorful. I love the puzzle-solving epidemic in this game and the usage of different kinds of colors. The puzzles never get too tough although there are a few areas of difficulty spikes but they're quite rare.Excellent music, in fact, I paid extra to get the OST for this game. I really hope that the gaming community makes more games like this where the world is very atmospheric and you can immerse yourself fully in it.P.,S. I had played this game last year in Feb. But really wanted to add a review for it. :)

The biggest mystery of this colourful world is its intended audience. Adults will dismiss this otherwise decent game as too simplistic, and kids will stop paying attention halfway through.

The Last Tinker: City of Colors is a cheerful game, but starts of dreadfully slow, has boring combat and scanty background music. This hurts the atmosphere. Look past these blemishes, and what remains is a colorful game that entertains for quite some hours.

I found myself surprised by the charm The Last Tinker oozes at every step, be it the breathtakingly colorful visuals or the varied and exciting soundtrack.
