Storyline

Twenty years after a mutated fungus started turning people all over the world into deadly zombies, humans become an endangered species. Joel, a Texan in his forties with the "emotional range of a teaspoon" (to quote Hermione from Harry Potter), finds himself responsible with the safety of a fourteen year old girl named Ellie whom he must smuggle to a militia group called the Fireflies. And as if the infected aren't enough of a hassle, they also have to deal with the authorities who wouldn't let them leave the quarantine zone, as well as other survivors capable of killing anyone who might have something useful in their backpacks.

Its true the graphics are not very good, but the gameplay is amazing. I think there should be more ammo and weapons, but is a survival game. THE most important reason i love this game is because you feel along the game like the characters. This game has an amazing storyline and this is the reason you should buy it right now.

I love these characters and the small and subtle introspective moments the game delivers. Moments that took place over minutes or seconds, but have been with me for years. This game will always exist in my heart as one of the greatest standalone experiences I’ve ever played.

On my way to the brothel, a man offered this game in exchange for all $80. I decided it was a good deal since he had a long kitchen knife pointed at my chest. Needless to say, I was essentially forced into this game. The gameplay itself isn't super great and you find that the collection of weapons is almost meaningless by the end of the game. The real value of the Last of Us lies in its storytelling. It puts your morals on spin cycle and presents them to you at the end of the game, changed from what they were before. It makes us all long for someone special to be with, even if it means the end of the world as we know it. That was a quote from the movie 2012 btw.You either love it or you hate it, much like my Dad-Bod. My Yeti cooler and case of Natty Lights make me the perfect target for the floozy 4-5's who wear too much makeup. In Summation, buy this game. If you do, maybe Ellen Page will return my love letters. 10/10

One of the best titles of the previous generation is now available in all the next-gen glory and also with all the DLCs. Take it or leave it.
