Lots of missions and DLCs, and every mission can be played in 3 ways, depending on the doctrine you choose. 2 levels of difficulty, several factions, very smooth performance even on slightly weaker machines, nice graphical details. 9/10 points for camera which could to be more adjustable/configurable, depending on what you need at the moment. Sometimes it is just too close to the battlefield or doesn't allow you to look at tanks and soldiers closer, also the angle is fixed. Overall, still good old Sudden Strike, just with better graphics and smooth game play. Highly recommended for II WW and RTS fans!

If you're not familiar with the series, Sudden Strike 4 doesn't allow you to produce units from buildings. Instead, you get reinforcements at certain points during the mission, and you're forced to rely on combat medics and first aid kits to keep your units in tact or alive. I ended up preferring the change after playing as going back to your barracks every couple of minutes to queue stacks of infantry gets really repetitive and it's not well-suited to a war game where you're looking for historical immersion. It also adds tactical depth as you really have to be attentive to each soldier or unit you have, and you have to protect your medics. This keeps balance rather than guns blazing at all times on the enemy. It's like being an actual combat officer as you're responsible for the lives of each individual soldier under your command. If you aren't attentive then you won't be able to accomplish your mission. The game is easy it is to pick up and play and quite a thrilling experience to play. It has the quality and fun I've come to expect from Kalypso, and this is an excellent addition for fans of the genre to add to their Xbox One library.
