STAR WARS Battlefront: Ultimate Edition Reviews & Ratings

The game perfectly captured the look and sound of the films' battles. But it lacked a story mode as well as several multiplayer modes and maps. This Ultimate Edition includes all the post-launch DLC and was given a bargain price of $40. That makes it a must buy for "Star Wars" fans. Developer DICE made a highly accessible competitive shooter for casual players. It follows the formula of the "Battlefield" games, but is much simpler. Despite its streamlined, arcade-style tactics, the game is still fun on a basic level. I would rate this with a 7.7 out of 10.
Even with all its DLC, the game feels completely hollow and empty. The game-play wasn't engaging, and the "single player" is just plain awful.Even with all its DLC, the game feels completely hollow and empty. The game-play wasn't engaging, and the "single player" is just plain awful. It looks nice and I had a few fun games, but it fall apart in terms of engagement and content.
The result is hugely satisfying, and a compelling reason to get back into the game. If you’re going to get one expansion pack for Star Wars Battlefront, make it this one.
