Even as a huge RWBY fan, this game lacks a great deal even years into its existence with multiple updates and attempts to improve on it. TheEven as a huge RWBY fan, this game lacks a great deal even years into its existence with multiple updates and attempts to improve on it. The game is very basic, with little to any depth to its story, level design, or gameplay. A RWBY game has so much more potential but instead of licensing the rights to a proper dev, Rooster Teeth tried to kickstart their own game development. In the future, perhaps fans will get the RWBY game they deserve, because this is not even close.

This game has an incredibly basic combat system that will get boring after an hour of play time. You can only make this game fun if you play with friends and even then you'll all die of boredom before you finish the game's bad story.

Dynasty Warriors or Bayonetta this ain't.

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is an enjoyable hack ‘n’ slash game recommended for all the genre’s fans, although it’s a short game swept along by its indie roots as it hasn’t the necessary resources to offer the fans all that we would want.

A modest hack & slash that fulfills its mission of being entertaining but with a very simple story and scarce variety of combos. Anyway, it's a good game with addictive gameplay and very fun moments. The horde mode is perfect for the game and got a special and pretty good visual design. Is very cooperative-oriented, something that many users will like.
