Unfortunately I believe Planet Coaster players will probably be a small niche of tycoon enthusiasts. I did not find the game very friendly towards players unfamiliar with tycoons and it's not the lack of tutorial content, but the game itself demanding some management skills after certain status is achieved. I believe Planet Coaster could benefit from an easy difficulty for kids since the theme is overall childish, but ends up not being so compelling towards kids outside of the create mode environment.Overall everything worked well on PS5, but I did notice some dips when my park was getting significantly big, and after I finished my parks there were so many assets on screen that the frame rate dropped to what I would recognize as mid 30's returning to 50's when zoomed in.During my first parks to which I dedicated hours of decoration, I was using so many assets with the Create tool that my park started flickering because it couldn't handle all the assets at the same time. I believe this could be fixed either by merging the assets by linking them, but apparently even after a structure has been build the assets will still be considered independent even if grouped up.This is the only issue I've found. I enjoyed the experience, it was a nice ride for sure.

The game has a nice and suitable art style, there are plenty of options to set up your park as desired and a simple and a clear user interface design makes it possible to build fast.Still, you occasionally run into the limits of the game. For example, there are not many themes available and sometimes the game only provides a couple of options for elements the park can’t miss. Think about the staff buildings or decorations to really make your park your own. The choice in attractions, on the other hand, is very well done. There is enough choice to make lots of different types of coasters. Finally, the game offers fun modes. The free mode, career mode or seperate challenges makes it a game for many types of players.

I bought the game on a whim and after I started playing I was instantly hooked, and haven’t wanted to play anything else. The game looks stunning on my 65 inch LG CX OLED tv: native 4K, HDR, 60 fps. I always have a smile on my face while playing. The simulation is incredibly deep and satisfying. I can’t recommend this game highly enough.

I made a very imperfect park in challenge mode that I can’t let go. I keep updating the park with new rides while I erase old ones to offer new exiting things to my guests. I keep an eye on my staff and makes sure they’re happy and I fire the ones that are lazy. I fantasize what I’m about to build next for my park.. I’m thinking about a dark ride. I even dream about my park. I sometimes erase whole areas of the park to update it. I don’t think I’ll stop improving until I literally don’t have anything more to update. I love it when the economy crashes because then I got stuff to do.Never thought any game would top Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, but here I am. Addicted to this game that lets me build absolutely everything I want and my imagination runs wild in this oneIt works well on Xbox
