Every time one of the Pikmin died, due to my incompetence, gave me a light pinch in my heart. On that matter I fully sympathise with Captain Charlie.Apart its cuteness, the biggest quality of this game is its handling. Its controls are learned very quickly.Its biggest flaw though is the shortness of its story modes, the reason why I don't give it a higher score.Pikmin could be a monument from Nintendo if only the story modes were considerably longer.

This isn’t a quarter of the size of the second one. It feels like a demo of the second Pikmin. Thought I was at most through half the game when “the end” popped up. The controls are noticeably worse than the gamecube ones and in hand held mode you can’t walk unless you use the “go here” tool. Don’t know what happened on the development that lead to this and neither do I understand how Nintendo charges as much as it does for it.

The game itself is relatively calm, but it still packs action within itself to deliver the full experience. The game, for one, has stunning graphics; as well as having a wide variety of enemies, fruit and plant life that you can look at in the games piklopedia (a feature added in the deluxe version not in the original Pikmin 3). It also has enough Pikmin variety to shake it up, although it takes a while to find the next Pikmin species, and it sometimes feels tiresome when you have to play the same level repeatedly. Overall, a fun experience that really can't be improved on in my opinion, definitely give it it a shot!

But the bigger issue is a lack of content. You can eat this game within 10 hours easily. I'd you are someone who buys games for length over enjoyment I say pass it. If you want a game that will be amazing but won't last too long play it. But this game should have been $20 like it is on the Wii U WITH NO ACTUAL CHANGES!!!

Yes, it is a remake, But I never played any of the games before, although I always wanted to play them. Now with the Nintendo Switch, you get a small but wonderfully masterpiece. :D. Time to try it in hard mode :D

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a better version of one of the best games ever made - one of Nintendo's crowning achievements, even. Whether you've played it before, or are lucky enough to experience it for the first time, you owe it to yourself to play this irrevocable environmentalist masterpiece.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is another excellent entry in Nintendo's charming and under-appreciated franchise. The main campaign is enjoyable enough on its own, but the numerous additions and improvements are just icing on the cake.

If you count yourself among a smaller audience that, for example, knows what an RTS or a Metroidvania is, this is a great game. It does exactly what it sets out to do, and it does it well, but it will feel overwhelming to those that have signed on during the Switch era.

This is a solid port of one of the best Wii U games. It’s a shame Nintendo didn’t try to enhance its visuals or fix some issues, but if you missed it on their previous console, now you’ve got a second chance.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is another comprehensive re-release with a welcome multiplayer component, but it’s a shame Nintendo didn’t polish it to the fine sheen that it deserves.

Nintendo’s overlooked Pikmin series shines as the latest Wii U Port on Switch, though the core gameplay experience is largely unchanged.
