This game is one of three games that defined the last 15 years, along with RDR2 and BOTW, This may be my favourite though. If I could give itThis game is one of three games that defined the last 15 years, along with RDR2 and BOTW, This may be my favourite though. If I could give it an 11/10 I would, I plan on playing strikers next, just to spend more time with these masterfully created characters. I love this game, and nothing will change that. I’ll even go so far as to say this is my favourite game of all time, and in my mind the greatest of all time in general.

Played the original game twice and played Royal twice as well. 1st for a casual playthrough and 2nd to play the third semester. This game isPlayed the original game twice and played Royal twice as well. 1st for a casual playthrough and 2nd to play the third semester. This game is an improvement to the original game in every way. The 3rd semester is optional and can only be accessed by maxing out certain confidants, which surprised me at first but eventually made me realise this process was necessary for it's buildup. The reason I give this a 9 instead of a 10 is because with the exception of the 3rd semester, the rest of the game is basically the same as the original and I wish they added more changes to it.

While the work done in the original resulted in a good game, Atlus have been extremely predatory with how they are handling the game. RoyalWhile the work done in the original resulted in a good game, Atlus have been extremely predatory with how they are handling the game. Royal should have been an expansion but they are forcing players to buy the thing at full proce again just for some extra content and QoLs. Feels like the early adopters, the people who support the franchise the most have been betrayed, and it is something Atlus should never do again.

seriously, one of the best, if not the best rpg around. This game is seriously good and very lengthy. Would I recommend it to players who haveseriously, one of the best, if not the best rpg around. This game is seriously good and very lengthy. Would I recommend it to players who have played Persona 5? I dunno. I never played the original game. Will I recommend it to anyone who enjoys social, rpg or turn based games? Yes, absolutely. Not playing this one will be a huge sin. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, although the combat is flawless, it can get a bit tedious at times. Also, it has one of the highest platinum percentage with around 16%, myself included platinum'd the game. Took me around 93 hours for the same. Really an amazing game and would recommend it to every ps4 owner out there.

Persona 5 Royal allows players to experience the story they already love in a new way without losing any of the beauty from the original game. New and old characters get their chance to shine through and steal your heart, even the ones you never expected to. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and maybe you’ll even feel a sense of justice for the infamous Phantom Thieves in the end. But one thing you won’t feel is regret in picking up Persona 5 Royal, as it’s truly the best Persona title, if not one of the best video games, I’ve ever experienced to date.
