Includes lots of multiplayer modes and is quite fun. I think it would be more enjoyable with friends, but hardly anyone is playing it, so ifIncludes lots of multiplayer modes and is quite fun. For any Halo fans, or fans of Arena FPS in general, this game is for you. Since near it's launch on Xbox a while back this is one of the fewFor any Halo fans, or fans of Arena FPS in general, this game is for you. Since near it's launch on Xbox a while back this is one of the few games that's had me HOOKED.The gameplay is solid and fast-paced, with fast enough killtimes to make firefights quick and engaging, but fair to both sides of the confrontation. Advanced movement options such as wall jumping, dashing, crouch-jumping and more bring a different, refreshing take on game flow, with regular players, ninjas, and trickjumpers alike all being able to feel right at home. Weapons are powerful, loud, and responsive. The controls are easy to pick up and very customizable; each in-game action can be binded individually, and full Xbox 360 controller support is included. As far as level design goes, full power is given to map makers in the form of the game's unique 'Minergun'. Building and filling in structures is as simple as a few clicks with it, with almost every map included being created by the community. JForce does a great job of listening and taking creative input from said community, having more involvement with it than most game developers of today, giving frequent updates as time goes on.Game modes range from tried-and-true Deathmatch gametypes to CTF to the game's very unique Infection mode, alongside built in features for competitive play such as weapon disabling and placeable on-map weapon spawns. But no game is perfect. While it's solid controls, gameplay, and ease of access stand out on their own, at the moment there doesn't seem much else to keep coming back to. At the time of this review, there's no matchmaking, dedicated servers, or single player campaign of any sort. No stat recording either. There also aren't any in-game unlockables, which a game like this could really strive from. So, until JForce surprises us with some big updates, whether or not you'll keep coming back relies solely on how much you enjoy the base game.Nevertheless, any hardcore arena-style FPS fan dying for some new PC action will fall in love with this game, if not for its likeness to Halo, then for its solid controls, gameplay, and ease of map building.Current score: 9.0/10.TLDR: Just get the game. It's only $5.
