The game is very cheap from the Xbox Live Store, and is an extremely quick download (less than 2GB), so it is done within a few minutes and ready to play. You can play split screen multiplayer with a sibling or friend on the same console, or go Online on Xbox Live (XBox Live Gold membership required) and join friends on other consoles, anywhere in the world. Joining online servers is amazongly quick and easy, all you need to do is sit on the home screen and as soon as your friend logs in to their game, providing the *ONLINE GAME* box is checked, their game will come up on your Minecraft start screen so you can instantly join and get playing, no messing about with IP addresses and other annoyances like on the PC version. The ability to instantly get a crafting menu up with "X" is an awesome feature, and saves having to look up Crafting Recipes online, like a lot of people have to do on PC version. The Survival version is incredibly fun and detailed, and contains lots of new features. The creative mode is very useful if your someone who just likes to jump in and start building.A couple Downfalls are;- Online multiplayer limited to 8 players per session,- Skins all cost money whereas they are free in PC version,Overall this game is very good, and well worth your money. However there are some slight things that need improving, however I am sure they will be patched in later updates, as this was always done in PC version.

Much like going from a rustic shelter to a statuesque castle, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will only offer more in time, with future updates adding even more hours to a game already brimming with near-endless potential.

This creative toolbox didn’t lose any of its magic. Minecraft doesn’t need level-ups, xp, buffs or special abilities to motivate – it captivates with its sheer openness and endless creativity.

This new version of Minecraft features a deeper field of view, a really smooth frame rate and a 1080p definition. The game is the same since 2011, and it's fabulous, but it's not for everyone.
