Summary

The developer of Mass Effect 2 CD Key is BioWare, while Electronic Arts is credited with publishing this game. It is a role playing, action based game that has been created to be played on Xbox 360 and MS Windows and launched on 26th January 2010. On 18th January 2011, a PS 3 version had been launched. It is regarded to be the sequel and second installment of the series of Mass Effect. The storyline involves the setting of the game during 22nd century within Milky Way galaxy. The collectors which are the insectoid species are said to threaten the human race. The protagonist of the game is Commander Shepard, who is an elite human solider, required to have the enemy defeated in a suicidal mission. The storyline could be impacted upon by the player in different ways, by using completed predecessors’ saved game.

Several elements have been changed in this installment and more emphasis has been placed upon the third person aspects which include regenerable health and limited ammunition. It was regarded to be a complete commercial success and the Xbox 360 platform had received from the critics an outstanding score of 96 on Metacritic. Its characterization, combat and interactive storytelling has been praised upon.

Storyline

Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced.

To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy's most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even then, they say it would be suicide. Commander Shepard intends to prove them wrong.
