It mostly focused on whole DC Super Heroes.Another disappointment was that the game did not feature a giant open world environment to explore.Lightings and environment design were absolutely perfect and there was a visible improvement.In general, it is definitely one of my favorite LEGO games and despite lack of an open-world environment, the good story makes it fun to play.(May - June 2021)

A tel point que dès le premier niveau, on se retrouve bloqué puisqu'un script ne se déclenche pas, même en recommençant le niveau plusieurs fois.Je regarde attentivement un guide et constate que le script fonctionne mais pas chez moi : ceci est une machination qui me vise personnellement, un complot éhonté monté de toutes pièces, en l'occurrence un assemblage de légos particulièrement foireux dont les avatars numériques ont pété un plomb. Bref, un bug sûrement très rare et pas toujours reproductible, hélas.Cela dit, j'ai pu constater un autre défaut durant ce court laps de temps à refaire la même chose : la musique ! pourtant, il s'agit de la belle musique du premier Batmou mais le développeur s'est borné à en extraire quelques échantillons qui sont simplement répétés en boucles infinies : celles-ci finissent par bien vriller les nerfs.Dans ces conditions lamentables, on ne peut que sanctionner de manière draconienne un jeu aussi mal foutu et un tel foutage de gueule ; quelle honte !

Fans of DC will really be delighted whether it is for the 12 hours main campaign, or for the 15 hours of side quests, exploration and Free Play you'll have to do if you wish to have 100%.And speaking of side quests let's talk about the main issue of the game, in this game you don't have an open world like we were used to since Lego Batman 2, instead there is one HUB (the Watch Tower) that is connected to others small zones you can also explore freely but always with a loading time, so you don't have an open world but 9 HUB zones, and (like a lot of other people) I consider this a minor step back.Gameplay wise it's still typical Lego games, platforms, puzzles, fights and the absence of difficulty will mix just right to give an entertaining experience (even if the fighting part is always a bit messy), the local coop is very fun and the children will love the art graphics style a Lego game offers.Finally the technical side of the game, and once again it is a minor step-back from previous Lego games,for a PS4 game they could really make better effect (closer from the Lego movie) but must of all this game is bugged : you character get stick in walls, the game close itself, etc...).In conclusion Lego Batman 3 is still a fun game, but not as much as some older Lego games and therefore this step-back can be annoying, but if you like DC comics and/or legos, and/or child friendly platforming game, it's still a very good purchase choice.

Lego batman 3: beyond Gotham is the DC comics game i have been waiting for.The story is packed with DC comics lore and characters. The Justice League, and the Legion of Doom team up to stop Braniac from shrinking the Earth. In my opinion, this is the best plot of any Lego game so far. You will travel across the galaxy, from Earth, to the watchtower, to all the lantern planets. You also get a nice, small variety of characters to play as throughout the 15 levels. You get all the main players of the Justice League, like Superman, Batman, Wonder woman, Martian Manhunter, and a few others. You also get to play as the Legion of doom, with team players such as Lex Luthor, The Joker, Cheetah, and Solomon Grundy. In conclusion, i was VERY happy with the campaign.The gameplay is the same as always with a lego game. Punch hordes of goons, break stuff, build stuff, solve puzzles, it's as great as ever in Beyond Gotham. Some new features include the ability to switch suits on the fly, some new flight controls (Which were in Marvel Super Heroes actually.), and some other stuff. A lot of the character powers are really diverse as well, only a few characters, like a lot of the big figures, felt like carbon copies of each other. Oh, and the character selection was huge. I was definitely surprised to see characters like detective chimp, platinum, and swamp thing. Oh, and my favorite DC comics character of all time, Deathstroke, was in the roster, which i was so happy to see.My one gripe with this game is the open world. Instead of one, big, interesting open world, we have several, small, generic planets. But, the hall of doom is available for exploration. While it is very confined, i do love that location (I LOVE the DC villains.) But, other than that, i very much adore this game's experience.This is one of the best Lego games I ever played, and is a must play for any DC comics fan. 9/10

A good lego Game, but after Lego Batman 2 & Lego Marvel with their great hub worlds and things too do after the story, LB3 falls. rather thanA good lego Game, but after Lego Batman 2 & Lego Marvel with their great hub worlds and things too do after the story, LB3 falls. rather than a big hub world that makes you feel like in manhattan or gotham, here you have small parted sections from the dc universe. there are also planet hubs that can give you an headache and make you stop playing. but i will say that the story is entertaining, the new costumes swap is really helpfull and some minikits are very creative.

Unlike some of the better previous titles like LEGO Batman 2 and LEGO Marvel, LEGO Batman 3 feels more claustrophobic, smaller in scale and lacks that open feel that the aforementioned titles gave us.

It’s a recycled formula that has worked over and over again and it has left some gameplay issues that should have been fixed long ago (e.g. floaty control or collision detection); however, the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” formula works and for many that will most likely be fine for them.

There are jokes, puns, quips, slapstick, a cool Resogun section, puzzles, laughs, cheesy character flight tunes (Superman flying to his theme tune is amusing) and a ton of Adam West to keep a smile on your face for hours.

LEGO Batman 3 recycles well known things and adds more characters and unlockables. Every year it seems that following this trend finally will stop bringing money, but every year it turns out that LEGO fans are strong and happy. The third LEGO Batman is a really decent game but the grade would be higher if only the developers would create a better story and a more interesting world with more novelties.

Beyond Gotham could have stood for some more innovation, but it's impossible to deny that it's a charming game with its tried-and-true.

It has some technical issues, but apart from them, it is a very enjoyable experience and recommended for fans of the LEGO-driven games.

Despite some technical shortcomings, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham does a fine job of continuing to build on what the series has established while also hitting all the right notes to keep pleasing Bat-fans of all ages.

Lego Batman 3 has all the ingredients of the other, enjoyable, Lego superhero games, but is let down by clunky controls, poor signposting and questionable translations of well-known comic book personalities.

With couch co-op for two, LEGO Batman 3 is a picture-perfect game to play alongside children. It can be a bit slow going at the start, but power through the introductory missions, acquire some suits, and things really start rolling.
