But after 3 seasons of fighters, gameplay tweaks, good online play, and a really in depth fighting system with excellent tutorials, I would go as far as to say this game is my favorite fighter of this console generation. I mean I would definitely recommend this game over Smash ultimate, SFV, MKX, MK11, or or the new samurai shodown. Its not the best fighter of all time, just the best of this generation.

Il en résulte une impression de saccade déplorable, ce qui, combiné à la vitesse délirante des coups, rend le jeu totalement illisible et grotesque.La musique provient certainement d'une poubelle tant elle écorche les oreilles et en ce qui concerne le multi-joueurs qu'il soit local ou sur le réseau, c'est toujours celui qui appuie le plus vite qui gagne. Très fatigant pour le pouce et la manette tout cela.Il est clair que n'importe quel jeu japonais met ce Killer machin à l'amende sans forcer, car s'ils font la course aux micro-paiements également, ils s'avèrent au moins jolis à regarder et d'une prise en main correcte. Cross-buy, and cross-play with Xbox One is amazing, the net code is the BEST of any fighting game at the moment, and the best part about KI on PC is that, unlike The Xbox One version, you DON'T need an Xbox Live subscription to play online! And did i mention? its Free-to-download, and you only buy the seasons you want, or if you love the game, you can buy all seasons in the "Supreme Edition", which is $10 bucks LESS on PC and if you buy it on PC and if you have an Xbox One, everything you buy on the PC will show up on the Xbone version, and Vice versa =D. Now...lets talk about the cons. Really, for me at least, it all comes down to some of the purchasing options. Shadow Jago does not come with any combo pack or season, and is $10 stand alone. Not a bad value, as you get some KI gold as well, about $5 worth of it, but it would have been nice to buy him without the shadow jago bundle for just $5 like the rest of the solo cast. Also, I owned season 1 that i got free with games with gold back in january (i purchased it from my 360 incase i got an Xbone) and i just bought season 3 combo breaker edition, and i wanted to complete it with season 2. Thing is, season 2 is not available standalone. Only as a bundle with season 1 (which i own) which cost $30. Hopefully they offer more bundle option in the future. Well, that about wraps it up. Sorry it was so long lol. I am a huge FGC guy, and play A LOT of fighting games, so ifelt my FGC peeps would want to know how it is in huge detail. Thats it guys.

Entering its third season, Killer Instinct has finally reached PC audience in its best incarnation to date. A fighting game that will please different player profiles, KI is a spectacular game that runs butter-smooth, with great netcode and one of the best tutorials we've ever seen in genre.

Ever since I was a kid I always wanted Killer Instinct for Arcade to come to my home in 1995. I have some minor problems with the game with the cloud save file but you can use the regular PC saved file if the cloud save file is corrupt and got a bug of having the game completely muted unless I reboot the PC. Other than that it's a fun game. I don't play online but I do play locally like old school that I am since I know the online crossplay was going to be a mess at launch. Try the one player free game plus at least it has combo assist so I don't have to keep pressing half circle on a xbox 360 d-pad which is horrible to use that another reason why this game is a 10 for me.

I love how KI have given a purchasing model that supports those that only want to play one character or even to demo the complete game for free with a character but also given the option for people like me to buy the complete edition with all skins. Having played most fighting games I love KI. It doesn't feel quite as "clean/simple" as Street Fighter due KI's faster pace and greater variety of types of character and so may well appeal to a different fighting game fan.The graphics are top notch and run silky smooth on a gaming PC. It's brilliant how it won't let people play ranked unless they choose graphics options which pass the performance test in the game to prevent lag in competitive multiplayer! The sound is simply the best in not just any fighting game but any game I have ever played. Mick Gordon's amazing work has been matched in season 3 by the new composers. Each music track is dynamically programmed as well so it responds to the action.Each character feels very unique. Controls are incredibly responsive, the netcode (using GGPO) is currently one of the best of any online fighting game. The dojo is great for beginners and with a combo system as well it means even those who have never played a fighting game before have a brilliant introduction to the world. The mind games in KI are ridiculous due to the combo breaker/counter breaker system which only adds to the hype.This game is free to sample, you'd be a fool not to try it out, even if you've never tried fighting games before. Even though the demo is pretty disappointing, the full Killer Instinct proves to be a really nice addiction to the fighting genre. Most of the characters come directly from the first Killer Instinct-game, but this time they look really gorgeous on the new Xbox One. The fighting system of Killer Instinct is a very layered one, which will keep you busy for loads of hours although a campaign mode is definitely missed.

Killer Instinct possesses the fundamentals to be a crowd-pleasing title, and certainly does a decent job of inviting less experienced players into the genre, but its limited modes and insistence on milking your funds KOs a game with potential.

It plays smoother, looks better than anything out there, and has a kick-ass soundtrack with a goofball announcer to boot. If you absolutely must recreate your childhood, then pick up the $40 pack, but most will be satisfied spending half that.

This was clearly an EXTREMELY rushed game which can be seen in the miniscule fighter line-up, total absence of most modes and features many fighting games launch with now, and lack of other things like No-mercy's, ultimates, stage fatalities, etc things the devs have even confirmed they just haven't had time to add in but will sometime in the FUTURE.So maybe in the future this game will be a 8-10, but right now the highest I can give it judging the whole package is a 6.

At launch, Killer Instinct serves as a solid foundation for what could eventually become a good fighting game. More characters and stages are coming down the line, but at launch, the game's limited single and multiplayer modes are glaring and will grow stale quickly.
