Evolve

Know somebody who might be like this game?

The Evolve is an action game from the Turtle Rock Studios, the studio that brought the successful game Left 4 Dead. This is a multiplayer shooting game which lets as many as 4 people act as hunters in a team to battle a vicious monster with weapons and trickery in the terrifying planet called Shear. You can also use the natural obstacles against the creature.

You can choose from 4 styles of game-playing, Medic, Assault, Support and Trapper and act as the hunter or even as the monster if you like. With every level you advance, you get the ability to upgrade your skills, perks and skins. There are 4V1 matches for you to stalk the monster and battle it and prove your abilities as the top predator. Alternately, you may also choose to be the monster and hunt humans down in this competitive game. Beware of the natural objects in the planet, as these can also turn against you at times. Before the purchase of each Evolve CD Key, you need to check the product description from your preferred store. Make sure that the CD key is available in stock along with any key that is needed for activating the CD key.

Brought out a lot of emotions and that what makes games fun. The atmosphere is tense and often i found myself spooked when either i found the monster or vice versa. Had such great battles many times where the game had us fighting till the last second, deciding a winner at the VERY VERY end of the round. balance is great.

Go, google 2k Evolve forums, and you'll see that someone posts... maybe once a month. Go to Steam, look at the stats, 161 people playing during PEAK times on Steam. Less than 200 people playing worldwide... at peak times.Let's move onto WHY it is dead:Director says its going to be free to play, franchise gets transferred to 2k. They claim there will be no DLC at release. Okay... $200 DLC at releaseBad broken poorly executed gameplay. Bugs, bugs, bugs. Invincible shields, spawning as a random critter incapable of attacking. I've fallen through the ground countless times. Each update makes the game worse, as if they had a complete game that they took parts out, polished the rest, and with every piece they put back, new issues arise. I especially dislike how the framerate can sometimes drop to 1 for no reason... on a console. The acknowledged bug list went two months after release without being updated. This is the most critical time to let the community know you're working hard on bug squashing, instead the bug list went completely ignored... for two months. Please tell me how they're supposed to fix bugs if they're not even acknowledging them. It gets worse...And you're like, well the game is only a year old, surely they're going to keep working on it... No. Just no, because Turtle Rock has already begun hiring for a new unannounced IP that will NOT have anything to do with Evolve. A year later and the developers have already abandoned this game.I spent $85 on this game at release, $60 for the game and $25 for the season pass, not including tax. Three months later I traded it into Gamestop for $8. The cashier said, "I'm surprised you lasted this long".I bought a box of cat litter and I watched my cat **** into it. This is Evolve.

First day DLC is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay at all. You don't have to buy any of it, no one is making you buy it. No need throw a tantrum just because you don't have a blue gun. Maps and game modes are all going to be free.I've been watching this game for over a year, waiting for its release. I've never been more hyped for a game and I simply love it. I've only played this game offline due to my bad internet, so keep this in mind. Every mode that can be played online can be played offline with bots, which I just love. I would love it if more games had bots. So this is a rare treat for me.Teams consist of 4 hunters and 1 monster. You can play as whichever side you want and no matter who you use, no one feels too strong or too weak. This game does very well with balancing things out. Both sides are a blast to play as in my opinion.Modes are few in number. There is only 5 game modes to choose from. Hunt, Rescue, Nest, Defend and then there is Evacuation mode, which uses all four of those. So things can get repetitive after a short while. But if you enjoy playing these modes, then that shouldn't be a problem. The AI is pretty smart. If they are the hunters, they will use their class skill at appropriate times and the medic will keep you healed up (or the enemy if you are the monster). They stick together like a team and coordinate well. But it never feels like they are cheating or have an unfair advantage due to being bots. They do make mistakes at times and wander into traps or mistakenly use a skill on the Wraith's decoy. When the AI is the monster, it provides a decent challenge most of the time. It will attack those that seem to be more of a threat or run if it feels it's in danger. There have been a few times where the hunter AI would just flat out die from the wildlife before I even got them when playing as the monster. So they aren't perfect, but they are usually pretty smart.Controls are a bit different, it took me a few matches to get the hang of, but once you do it is pretty smooth and works very well. Playing as the monster doesn't feel wonky or weird, just different is all. But different in a good way. It's easy to jump around, climb walls and unleash attacks on the hunters.Graphics are quite impressive and always pleasant to look at. However some of the maps feel a bit small and make it a bit harder to hide as the monster.Overall the game is really fun for those that enjoy the action of multiplayer type games. If you don't have good internet, don't worry about it. The game has bots for every game mode so you can still enjoy it. Modes will get repetitive after a short while. Graphics are nice and so is gameplay. Controls are a bit odd at first, but there are tutorials to get you going. Definitely worth picking up.

Well it's decent at best, it gets very repetitive very quickly as the game only features one gamemode, YES I know there's more, but the only gamemode that anyone plays is Hunt while the others are never touched. Playing as the monster is kinda cool, but it should have been in first person, so I had an idea who I was killing. Playing as the hunters was boring for me because all of the characters feel like carbon copies of other FPS classes, except the Trapper who is unique. The story? It's terrible ESPECIALLY THE ENDING, and the game has next to new character, all of the characters are all bland and boring. The graphics while amazing, you do need a powerful PC for it to run on max settings, overall the world of Evolve looks great!Overall Evolve is a massive cash cow and a disgrace to gaming, plus I predicted that this game would suffer the same fate as Titanfall in my steam review, "Hyped with lots of DLC, dies within a month" and I was right, right now in the time of this review the original Killing Floor had more players (And it's dieing because of Killing Floor 2 and the lack of new content) then Evolve, that's a joke, like this game and it's precious DLC life support.Whenever you see 2K publish or Turtle Rock Studios develop a new game, just remember they shat out this massive lazy cash cow, and don't fall into the same trap, especially 2K, they love chopping up content and selling it as DLC, look at Borderlands 2, the Pre-Sequel and the Sid Meier's games, look at all that DLC they sell, and it's getting worse.
