It's not a fighting game. Those take skill though you could say this one takes a li'l bit o' that, but not much when you get the basics down. The autocombos are pure cancer. You can mash 'em, the light ones either have massive range or a goddamn vacuum effect or both, and some of the medium ones (like Hit's medium autocombo) do a **** ton of damage. It's one of many things that really kill the game for me. As simple as the move execution is, there's little point to it when you can just crush your skull against the controller to get the same if not better results. No practice mode needed not that you need it in a game where everyone uses the same basic **** For On top of that, the light attacks got **** range. It doesn't help that defense options are nonexistent. The only thing you got is either down heavy, blowback via Sparking Blast (that's usually one time use in a match unless Shenron exists), or this gay li'l swipe that doesn't even stop your opponent's attack spree, so it'll often just work to their advantage anyway. Who the hell thought a lack of defense was good? Usin' it for ki blasts is mostly pointless when you can just Super Dash through 'em. Sparking Blast is broken as all hell too, makin' everyone stun your block absolutely for free as if defense wasn't already wack.As for the other **** the story mode is lame, the combo challenge ain't even a goddamn combo challenge. Goin' against CPUs is hella inconsistent as they could either perfectly combo into all kinds o' **** or run right into level 3 supers. Online is a hell no without a near perfect connection. Some characters could've had different costumes kinda like Videl with her ****ty long hair. And now, after all the updates, this masher of a game will quickly die off like Smash Bros. The only thing that'll remain of its name. I guess no one makes fighting games anymore, only Nintendo system. This game should've been a 1-on-1 type o' game. The characters would be a lot more unique compared to the half-assed potential of what's in this game. **** the developers who made this anal prolapse called a game. Time to move on from this boring-ass tragedy.

Expect to wait over a minute for an offline battle. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone but a fan. Good luck doing a quarter circle combo on ur Xbox controller. More often than half of the time it just doesn’t do anything.

Battles soon get repetitive but I pushed myself to beat this game. There are three main stories that last for about 12 hours. Don't forget to use three habilites in the main campaign because I found it out when I was at the end of the second story. The best of the main story is that it has many scenes and you get to see most of dragon ball characters just being themselves. If you want to beat the enemies easily just press the square button and the R2 when the enemy is far or defending. I don't think this game deserves more than an 8. PS: What's with the huge hands that all the characters have? Feels weird.
