This title feels a little more like an RPG than the other souls games. This just really meshes well with what I like. I love dual wielding, the new game plus, and just a lot of random little things. DS2 is usually looked at like the black sheep of the souls series, to me though, it's my favorite.

Level design, lore, weapons, story, world design, controls, enemy design, hitboxes. Stamina recharges slowly even with rings and items that improve it. Pvp and pve is slower. The game throws hoardes of enemies at you. Many enemies have way more poise than they need to. Boss designs are worse. Most of them are regular giant knights with weapons. The looking glass knight is by far the greatest boss in the game. However the game makes a few improvements graphically and i like the ability to replay bosses and reset areas.
