Summary

Bioshock CD Key is shooter game that is to be played from the first person perspective. 2K Boston that was later renamed as Irrational Games was its developer and its publisher is 2K Games. It has been released in August 2007 for Xbox 360 and MS Windows. In October 2008, PS 3 port had been released by 2K Marin, Irrational, Digital Extremes and 2K Australia; while in October 2009, Feral Interactive had released an OS X port. IG Fun had developed its mobile version. Ken Livene, the creative lead of Irrational had developed the concept of this game. The developer has been inspired by authors like George Orwell and Ayn Rand’s Objectivism. It has been termed to be the successor of System Shock series.

The background of the game has been set in the bygone 1960’s, where Jack, the protagonist is guided by the player, after his airplane crash near bathysphere terminus, in the ocean. Rapture is an underwater city, where the protagonist has to lead the mission. The game had received positive reviews from the critics, with special praises being given on the storyline that is morality based, unique setting and immersive environments. It has been stated to be among the greatest PC games of its time.

Storyline

BioShock takes place in 1960 in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, where Jack, sole survivor of a plane crash, discovers the entrance to the recluse underwater city of Rapture, at the end of a civil war which left most of this utopia in disrepair. Finding himself in an alien world, he has no choice but to fight for his survival against the Splicers, degenerated citizens addicted to the genetic material known as ADAM, and all the traps laid down by the city's visionary founder, Andrew Ryan. His only help lies in Atlas, a revolutionary man seeking to escape safely to the surface with his family.
