There is a long laundry list of what’s wrong with Axis Football 2015: no injuries, teleporting players during kick-offs… And instead of struggling, players simply hug each other and just stand there.

If you ever played Backyard Football it's in a way like that in that it's sort of an arcade style, but it also has the NFL style mixed in.Pros:-Conrols on PC and Mouse are nice.. It's easy to control. WASD work as well as the arrow keys, and mouse.-Fun to play with an arcade style-Season mode works well so far. It has 32 teams with 8 teams that make the playoffs all in 1 division which is kind of a nice twist. The teams resemble the NFL in that one of my players for example is #24 which resembles Marshawn and runs like him (Seahawks). I'm sure someone will release a mod with all the rosters soon. It's a 12 game season.-Announcer is both good and bad. The announcer can be turned off. It's sort of like the announcer on Backyard Football, but not as good.Cons:- I can't get my Dual Action Logitech to work with this yet so far. I downloaded a 360 emulator, but not sure how to get the game to recognize the gamepad.- Stats haven't been implemented in Season mode yet, but they should be adding it to this years version soon.- Graphics aren't great, but then again this was made by 1 person or so I believe. Madden was made with a huge budget, and it's no longer on the PC..Summary:Buy if you liked Backyard Football, or Madden. This isn't anything close to Madden, but it's fun to play and on the PC. It's a good price, and definitely worth supporting the developers.

For what the game is though, it is fun and can last with the current features. Mod support also could drive this game to be very good. This game still does have a lot of problems in animation though, it is because of lack of funding, but it's still a problem. If you buy this game, don't expect madden. I do believe a user could still have a lot of fun in this game though. If this game lives up to its potential, Axis 16 could be an amazing game. But for the present, this game is still good

Axis Football 2015 is a much needed breath of fresh air for PC gamers. What you will get with this game right now is a fun football game withAxis Football 2015 is a much needed breath of fresh air for PC gamers. What you will get with this game right now is a fun football game with an innovative passing system which is the foundation that this game is built on. However, it is not without its problems. It lacks many core fundamentals at the moment but the developer is dedicated to improving the product through player feedback. I have never seen a developer so open and willing to give a fan base what they want more than this developer. The potential for this game is huge and has me excited for the future. A new update will be out next month which promises features that came directly from player feedback. In this day and age where we have bait and switch controversies and unpolished products from triple A companies, it is so refreshing to stumble on a developer like this that is passionate about their product and willing to listen to their fans. If only more companies did this. This game is a work in progress but its cheap and the fact you are supporting a dev like this makes it worth it and will help him improve his project in the future.

Its fun and has good replay valueAxis football has a pretty good foundation going right now. The passing mechanics are actually pretty good. Its fun and has good replay value for what it is. Sure you have your bugs but this is just the beginning of what can be a great pc franchise football game. At this point it can not compete with madden or 2k. This is just the beginning and great updates and fixes are on the way. With support this game can be something special that pc gamers have been missing for a while. If your looking for a American football game on pc give this a shot at some point. If you get it now do not have expectations of a madden its far from it. With that being said be sure to check out the description of the game in Steam and look at the forums. Once you have done that then make you decision. For me its fun and gives me football on PC. With the support this game is getting so far I believe Axis Football will be here to stay. And it will only get better over time. Right now like I said this is a work in progress with fun gameplay.
