Aritana and the Harpy's Feather is a wonderful Adventure/Platformer Developed by an Indie Brazilian Team, and i congratulate them for theirAritana and the Harpy's Feather is a wonderful Adventure/Platformer Developed by an Indie Brazilian Team, and i congratulate them for their hard work on putting such an amazing game.You'd be surprised on how good the Art/Graphics are in this game they are just outstanding, with a Tropical kinda Forest-y theme and style that reminds me of Tarzan (PS1).And with Soundtracks that flows perfectly with the game's style.Levels are really well-done, every stone every tree every platform it all works out so well and all the fun that comes in new levels and special levels all so very entertaining.Gameplay is really cool, Jumping from platform to platform stomping enemies collecting stuff, this game has fun and challenge played equally,You can play the game with a keyboard but if you want to go with a controller note that it only works with a 360 ControllerThey put so much work on every detail on the level design, Backgrounds, Characters, Abilities, Collectibles, It is very impressive and fun to find them all.The game is inspired by Brazilian culture which i find is pretty cool to put on a game and they made a good story out of it, that follows with the game till the end by wonderfully drawn Cut-scenes.It indeed has a very cool gameplay style to overcome the obstacles using combos, and special abilities, and requires good reactions on your side to do so.I am really glad i got this game, it gave me a good classic adventure that i did not find in most games for sometime now, i would say it takes a bit more than 4 hours to finish and about 7 hours for full game.I diffidently recommend it to all those who like adventure platformers with a good style that is both entertaining and challenging.

I can’t say I warmed to the soundtrack, but I confess it’s cheery enough, and I can’t really identify anything offensively bad about Aritana. I think the dev team could make something really great in the future, but for the moment I could only recommended this game to a very patient platformer fan. And it would have to be on sale.

As the game advance you will learn new powers, and to advanced you need a good understanding on how to use it.The responsive controls are not only a good implementation of the game, but you depend on it more than you can imagine because advance the level depend on you to make the right move at the right time, in the exact position and without thinking twice. Sometimes will be very frustrating to pass an obstacle, but it is very satisfying overcome the challenges placed before us.Aritana and the Harpy's Feather is the best game I played this year (2014) so far.Excellent game, very fun and challenging.At the moment I laid my hands on the game I could only stop playing when I saw the ending animation. And I encourage you to try to get 100% of it.
