Summary

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare delivers three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Campaign is a return to the gritty, military roots of the franchise, while boldly looking ahead, delivering a rich and engaging narrative that is unlike anything to date in a Call of Duty game. The player will embark on a classically-styled story about grand scale warfare, set in a future where human conflict has spread throughout our solar system.

Multiplayer combines popular mechanics such as the chained-based movement system, with a load of gameplay innovations to deliver one of the deepest and most engaging online experiences in gaming. The new Zombies mode will thrill co-op players with an original, distinctive approach and an uproarious narrative sure to excite fans. The title introduces stunning, multi-planetary environments, new weaponry, and all-new player abilities.

Great campaign with a loadout choice for the start of most missions, good characters, and many optional missions. The villains are quite generic however, and not even John Snow can save them from being bad. Zombies in Spaceland is a great map that is fun and silly, and it stands out on its own. I've heard good things about the other maps as well, but unfortunately they're not free. Multiplayer is the weakest part of this game, however, with small maps that look nice but are just the same as BO3. It's fun to shoot people, and some of the weapons are kinda neat, but nothing revolutionary unfortunately. Good game overall; got way too much hate.

I don't care about multiplayer or some fanboy expectations, single is brilliant. Game has one of the best single player company in the entire genre.

If you are a late teen or early adult, you are much better off spending your money on a game that's actually Call of Duty (such as one about World War 2, modern times, or Vietnam). This "Call of Duty game" has absolutely terrible gameplay!

The space flight missions were kind of exciting, partly because it was an unexpected variety in the game, but everything else about the gameThe space flight missions were kind of exciting, partly because it was an unexpected variety in the game, but everything else about the game felt like one long-winded shooting-gallery with minimal concern for how to make it fun or interesting to play. Now a while after playing it, I remember some cool fights against mechs. But mostly it was corridor shooter gameplay. There's a story somewhere in there too, but I barely noticed it.The multiplayer disappointed me greatly. I just didn't have much fun playing it. Maybe the players were too skilled or something. The zombie mode had a totally different presentation than main game. The coop gameplay worked well. But after a few long rounds, I figured that was a sufficient test and I did not return to play it.
